  1. Wolves away win tonight....they will be buzzing after Monday’s performance.
  2. Just like Hyde road , you need a strong engine at the NSS . The vast majority of riders say what a good track the NSS is... any rider worth his salt will ride it well.. I well remember Barry Brigs with the quote “ if you can not race at Hyde road , then you are no racer”...such was his liking for the track The NSS track provides a fantastic theatre for racers to entertain to the highest levels. in the first year at NSS , I was in the pits when Wolverhampton had their first match , Wolves were doing their track walk...as Peter Karlsson walked back in the pits , he turned to a team mate and said “ what a fantastic track” That was before he turned a wheel.
  3. Looking forward to my next meeting as above. Shame that Jason Crump is likely to be missing. When he rode for us at the dog track he was nothing short of phenomenal. 100% effort at all times and a great racer during his career. Although he does not reach this standard at the age of 45, he is still great to watch and still guarantees 100% effort.
  4. The reduction to 35 points in my opinion was that there was a glut of young 3.00 pointers waiting to get started in 2021... therefore reducing the total was a way to get all these young lads in to racing
  5. The BYC prior to the league match was thoroughly enjoyable...some good quality racing. A good idea to put it on as an added attraction rather than a stand alone meeting.
  6. Looking forward to the match at NSS. WEATHER FORECAST OK AT THE MOMENT will be interesting to see how Jordan Palin goes at his former track!!!!!!
  7. Disappointed for Craig. It does seem that they had already made their mind up.... you don’t decide one day and suddenly have a replacement within 24 hours. this has been planned
  8. So sad to see Somerset Speedway close. Always enjoyed my trips there... I often went to the pairs on the Friday night and then drove home.....once the novelty of Cardiff wore thin I stopped going there. My thoughts go out to their supporters.. they must be devastated I expected COVID to hit some tracks hard..but was not expecting closures
  9. Totally agree. Watching young riders progress is most interesting. I remember seeing Peter Collins at a training school at Hyde road before he rode for Belle Vue.... He stood out a mile Also 23 races at hyde road with an interval and you were out before 9 pm with a 7 pm start. Some promoters can take 2 hours giving you 15 races nowadays
  10. Well that completely changes the complexion of the side. We now have a good team Well done Belle Vue
  11. Snap...cannot wait to see a second match at the NSS
  12. I am also delighted to see a match even if it is behind closed doors. Got my ticket for the BYC on the10th. WEll done Adrian and Mark
  13. Good to see that Belle Vue wish to run some meetings even if the league does not start
  14. Speedway of nations is postponed. Hope they hold it this year presuming we ever get going... even if it is a shortened season
  15. It seems to me that Jack is in the team whilst Connor attends a wedding in Aussie. So he gets a chance to pit himself in the window re getting in a team later in the season
  16. I am amazed that he has no team place in 2020. He was shafted by Sheffield in 2018 and Redcar in 2019 He deserves some good luck... hope he gets picked up by someone.
  17. I doubt if that is relevant to the Aces.. maybe Peterborough who are struggling for top end apparently Hope there will be updates from the meeting on here from supporters present at the meeting
  18. Charles Wright on 6.68 would be an absolute steal !!!!!
  19. Sheffield fans have got to be delighted with the signing of Nicki What a great start for your heat leader berths
  20. Pleased to see the new deal.... even better ..it will be on freeview via Quest or Dmax
  21. FIM keeping the Swedish flag flying.....shame the young talent from Sweden seems to have dried up
  22. Well done to Jaimon Lidsey on getting to the final in last night's U21 meeting in Paedubice Hope to see you in Aces colours next year
