  1. Tuff he can’t change mid season he as agreed a contract to ride for a club from March to October, he must honor it.
  2. The BSPA cannot invent rules that contravene the law of the land but they do, Speedway riders are protected by Employment Law, They are self employed and have freedom of choice who they want to ride for, which means they are not assets of any Company
  3. Points limit is not unlawful, rider assets are, simple as
  4. It’s so basic, All Speedway riders are Self Employed they agree to ride for a club until the end of a season, Due to the fact they are Self Employed they can ride for any other club in the world excluding the UK, His UK club do not deduct Income Tax or NI Contributions, but yet they are assets of a Company, Any Accountancy would tell you the system is completely illegal never mind a Legal Expert.
  5. Now that Mr Scott Nicholls instructed a Sport Specialist Law firm and won his case, Any rider who is not happy that he is not a free agent at the end of a season even when is “Parent club don’t want to use him, and they get a Loan fee for him, could go to this very reputable Company were they would advise the rider that this is against the Law of the land, and this would completely screw the BSPAs Assets system and clubs Balance Sheets
  6. Makes you think the most financially well off club I the Country and the most successful team on the Track in the Last 15 years Poole have announced they are not using Race Suits this season as a cut costing exercise, yet Birmingham are buying them,I personally like them until there’s an injury or a d,up rider is riding in the top league and the riders brought in wear some crap top.
  7. Is Gordon Pairman still a Promoter at Poole, and is it correct he’s a Tax exile living in the I.O.M., the reason for the questions is would it not be cheaper to give him the boot.
  8. Just seen on Twitter that Phillip Rising is no longer the Editor of the Star, With Andrew Scun taking over, If that’s the case a massive thanks to Phillip Rising for Editing such a excellent Publication over the years, he’s certainly been there and got lots of tee shirts, Hope he still keeps us up to date with what’s going on behind the scenes,On this forum,Must say really can’t understand why Mr Richard Clarke is not the new Editor as he’s been with the Star longer, (I think)
  9. Over the weekend I had some time on my hands so, I look at Estate Agents in the Swindon Area then contact them asking if they have any 4 Bedroom Houses for sale in the Blunsdon Area, They all did so I asked 3 of them if they would email me details, When I received the details I responded to them informing them that due to the proximity of the Properties to the Speedway Stadium I would not pursuing a Purchase, then this morning I contacted all the 3 Agency’s and asked if they had lost sales due to the Speedway Stadium and all 3 replied yes they had, but one informed me that if I hold fire that they had been told that there is Developments going on that suggest the Stadium will not progress
  10. What a excellent day out ,congrats to the organisers what was especially enjoyable was seeing so many riders from the past looking so well.
  11. To me he always looks over weight
  12. Birmingham’s season will all depend on Layne Cupitt
  13. Is a rider still allowed to ride in all 3 leagues this season,
  14. After the way Perks treated Buxton in 2016 I would be very surprised if they would allow him in there Stadium ever again,
  15. Yes it doesn’t look good when you see it on Paper very sad,
  16. I know the fixtures have only just come out but has anyone had chance to work out how many clashes there are re Davey and Hume
  17. I think Planning had more to do with it !!!!!!'!!!!!
  18. As Peterborough are in such a mess (of there own doing ) would Martin Smolinsk be a Possibility, I see he has signed for a Polish Team, but in all probability I would only get 2 or 3 meetings but riding for Peterborough he could get about 30 to 40, out of interest has anyone any idea what average he would come in on
  19. Sorry but who is Guy Nicholls? Scott’s Dad
  20. YOU take a “Bung” so they are Banned from the AGM so they have no say in the forthcoming Season, can’t say I have a great deal of sympathy for the Peterborough Promoters that they now find them selves in,and as for Scott taking legal Action forget it far to expensive and the Season would be over before it was brought to Court
  21. You would think Jim Lynch is naild on to be the Co Promotor now
  22. All this talk about this going to Court, Well yes it could but the time factor would not make it Practical a Promoter could of course seek a injunction but the costs would be astronomical and I’d be very surprised if any club in the country could afford one.
  23. I was very impressed with Broc Nicol at Birmingham’s last meeting, Would he get a Visa to ride in the UK, if he did what average would he come in on
  24. “Everything comes to them who wait” Have faith in Main Man
