  1. I think the Panthers will do well whoever their number 7 is, as long as they use up the points. If Bomber, Hans and Scotty don't put a 2.5 points on their ave between them, i'd be shocked. Mostly Bomber and Hans. MPT looked fast at the back end of the season, I can see him holding his own. I think NKI will average 8. He will average over 7.5 away, and I can see him average at least 9 at home. Looking pretty good for the Panther imho.
  2. Money as usual. Bad move imho. Might back fire.
  3. Despite all the crap, and I admit the BB badge thing isn't good, he's the only one to buy a club and put money into it. Despite all the flack last season and the fact he lost money, he looks like he's trying to put a top 4 team together for 2020
  4. I hope the team does well, and the crowds are good. Cant be a cheap job.
  5. Sponsors stepping down I see. ED Bales has sent a good luck message to King’s Lynn ahead of the new season – after standing down as main team sponsor. The club will be unveiling their new backers next week after Poultec stepped aside to channel their funds to the Poultec speedway programme enhancing opportunities for young riders within the sport.“The training programme is requiring increased input to run successfully but hopefully it continues to grow and be of great benefit to the sport,” said Bales.“I wish Keith and Cheryl Chapman and the King’s Lynn team every success for the new season and I am sure we will be around to support them in other ways.“We are looking forward to the new season.”Stars co-promoter Keith Chapman said: “It’s always a pleasure to work alongside Ed and Debbie Bales and we can’t thank them enough for their support last season.“They are good friends of us here at King’s Lynn and they know they are more than welcome to come along and see us as our guests at any time.“We have been working hard behind the scenes and we should be in a position to make an announcement next week regarding our 2020 team sponsors.”
  6. They can afford NKI, but not a tenner an hour(for 3 hours max) for a man with a few cones
  7. I hope your right about Lynn. But I would be surprised if they finish in the top 5. I agree that if Peterborough fill their last 2 places wisely, they will be in the payoffs, no problem.
  8. If Hans starts at reserve, he will only be there until the first set of averages comes out anyway, imho
  9. I think Tofty will probably get the no.2 race jacket. That's a good looking side, and I think Buster for all his faults ( I know about the BB farce) has put together a strong team for 2020. That isn't a making up the numbers side. It's a strong side all the way through, including strong reserves.( with around 4.80 for the no.7 spot). If they all stay fit you have yourself a play off side imho.
  10. This article is from 2019. Might be of interest to someone. https://amcn.com.au/editorial/grid-talk-seth-crump/
  11. He has 2 new Ashtech engines waiting. But as you say, age, inactivity, and fitness maybe against him. It will affect him to some extent, but I guess we will have to wait and see how much. Gating could be the key for him. After 8 years he will be trying to find all the setups again as quick as he can. Might hinder him away from Foxhall. I was surprised with the high average he was given. 7-7.5 would of been fair I think. Great for British speedway that he's back, and I wish him the best, but I would rather NKI if I had a choice out of the two..
  12. Buster has a blade and the AFA is as smooth as, but very grippy. Peterborough has been really fast, last season, but some meetings have had great racing( by other admissions). Buster can provide a smooth fast track....But it can't be down to the clay content alone , because the Showground has had some good meetings with passing last season. Is it do much dirt ,to much water and to much packing ? What is your view.
  13. I see Poole have 6 riders kevlars sponsored.. I make it they will need another 4 at best by the end of the season
  14. It's one of those TBH. If you pick a rider to win outright, the odds can be short. But he can have some bad rounds and still win the title. But with round winners you can pick a rider on form or who has a good record on a certain track, but if the have a bad one the bet is gone. It can't be recovered. It's whatever you prefer at the end of the day.. Each to their own.
  15. To know who you want, and to get them is a different matter.
  16. Thinking of Danny's family and friends on his funeral day, today (Valentines day ). Ride free Fella x
