  1. See you fell in to the trap, hiding behind a username it’s easy to say stuff to try get reactions. just don’t react.
  2. We ran with a singular guest all season whilst trying to sign someone that would have kept the standard of the team up. it was always going to be a potential issue with one rider and worst case scenario we could have used R/R as MPT had Poole Dialled in until he got fenced. We have 4 injured riders. Even if Kennet was fit it’s near impossible to replace the other three with points they would Get. out of curiosity if you have such a packed schedule howcome Neil’s testimonial was more important than an official meeting ? Why did the BSPA not Insist they run a meeting of more importance ?! if this happened in an established sport that the teams biggest fixture can get changed in under a week it would be laughed at.
  3. Haha if we had a full team I’d back Plymouth to win. With only 3 Plymouth riders and a lack of options to guest it’ll take a miracle
  4. Full strength would have included Lawson but there we go hahaha. full strength would have also included all the riders that we were rejected some very unfairly. i assume then…..so you are at full strength regardless of anything you will 100% have a guest for worrall even if there is no one out there that would get as much points as R/R ?!
  5. It’s just another further point for speedway that the board who run the show need to be independent. is it the correct thing to move the meeting, as a Poole fan yes as a Plymouth fan no, that’s life and one was always going to be upset. is it in all honesty is in the best interests of speedway having one team decimated by injuries made to ride ?! Of course it’s not. regardless of what people say Poole wanted it early so they could take advantage of plymouths injuries and losses who wouldn’t. plymouth wanted it later to give themselves a chance to run with the team they assembled and make it competitive and a good watch for fans of both clubs but also neutrals. any speedway fan or someone with the interests of speedway above the interest of any team should have wanted this match to be ran at a later date to make it competitive. im sure Poole fans will argue but i don’t really see the argument IF you put speedways interest first and not Pooles interest.
  6. What would you have done then when you have 1 fit rider ?
  7. The other issue in regards to Eddie Kennet is not actually a problem to have with Plymouth but more with the BSPA rules. What people actually forget is that We were the first team to sort our number one out before Poole came in and took him over the winter. this left very few riders to fill a number one slot. With this in mind 12 riders were tried to save signed but due to Visas and BSPA committee Plymouth were not allowed. The reality is the BSPA is going to die a death whilst people with club first interests as apposed to British speedway first interests run the show. How I’m any sport/social element where there is competition can you have some selected group of teams creating the rules that are ultimately going to benefit themselves over the sport.
  8. On here to Litterally only be a wind up behind a fake username to try and be little Plymouth and in the end you’ve just casted more spotlight on what a great call Plymouth made. great call Plymouth and top work for saving people a pointless journey.
  9. So where do we start with plymouths bad luck….. barker 2 nights before the meeting getting injured Lawson fencing MPT Lawson nearly fencing Bowtell The 5-1 in heat 14 come on let’s be real here your boys would have taken one helluva beating today had they not took out MPT. Look at little old Plymouth competing with the “big boys” and with the commentary team plus others moaning about the fact we use Guests for our number one ………Which funnily enough we had lined up before last season even finished…….. who was that and who poached riders….. shall we go there with cook as well or ……….
  10. Lawson nearly shove Alfie in the fence in the same place, dangerous !
  11. Hopefully if available howarth who scored 11 on his last visit with Leicester and meeting before scored 12 as guest for Newcastle at number one. if not Pickering who scored 7 on his last visit.
  12. As true as it is about Plymouth at the start of the season they had both there number 1 and 5 national league riders in the the championship team. 1 got injured and 1 quit. Whilst we did use the number 3 as guest and it didn’t go well at all.
  13. 2 confirmed new reserves full time for Plymouth. Ben Morley and Harry Mcgurk. Ben is an obvious one and we know rides the home track well and Harry is by all accounts a bright prospect and hopefully he can add and develop. search for a number one continues but can’t be disappointed with the effort mark and Gary are putting in by trying at-least 16 different riders
  14. It’s simple ….. until the people looking after speedway in GB are completely neutral it’s a joke ! Neutral chairman and board members are need for British speedway and only then will it be taken seriously. the people running it look out for themselves and themselves only. I can’t see it changing for a while because the people in charge won’t let it happen.
  15. 1- Douglas 2- Bowtell 3- Barker 4- Palm Toft 5- Anderson 6- Rumul 7- Edwards Would be my guest team if it fits
  16. Ammm I don’t think Kenner would be back for 3rd may 2032.
  17. 1- Gilkes - 10.30 2- Trigger - 3.57 3- Atkins - 5.86 4- 5- Bowtell - ? 6- 7- Ward - 3.00 These 4 total - 22.73 if it’s working towards a 40 points limit this leaves 17.27 say Bowtell is on a 9 this could leave 8.27 maybe for the final two. Kelsey Dugard could be a potential if Alfie comes down maybe.
  18. For those interested 6 of the 7 confirmed riders silhouettes are on the main Plymouth speedway Facebook page. with them being announced at 6 this evening. anyone got any ideas. I’m going bowtell, Gilkes, Atkins, trigger, Kai Ward as possibilities.
  19. Apparently they said that apparently he wants to ride for them as apparently Poole don’t want him apparently. Plus apparently I’ve heard he apparently can’t reside in England apparently so has to live outside England apparently. Apparently this post could be a load of rubbish.
  20. Very true, so in reality what Poole are actually moaning at is actually why they did. Couldn’t write it
  21. Pools fans moaning about a rider leaving them who agreed to sign….. someone remind me about Lawson….. or is it cause they are Poole and Poole can do what they want…..?
  22. Completely agree about Alfie but if no team with there only being 6 teams are going to take a chance on him then would make sense to earn a bit of extra money and dialling in on a few more tracks.
  23. In that case from what I’ve heard Andrew’s has retired so take him out and build from there.
  24. Ok so doing some research it’s a 40.00 limit and potentially Bowtell is allowed in but it would be his 4.77 championship average doubled ( could be wrong ). 1.Gilkes - 10.24 2. trigger - 4.12 3. Andrew’s - 6.35 4. Atkins - 5.86 5. Bowtell - 9.54 6. 7. total - 36.11 left - 3.89 could be 0.11 to micas could t get 2 x 2 point reserves in there.
  25. Surprised but delighted to have two teams this year. Team building wise, I assume some possibilities would be…. 1.Gilkes 2. 3. Andrew’s 4. 5. Atkins 6. Trigger 7. no idea if these riders have been signed up already or if these riders can all ride national league. Maybe add I’d Alfie bowtell. No idea if Alfie can ride national league. any idea on team building average this year ? Any idea on Bowtell average ?!
