  1. Taken from the Plymouth forum….. PLYMOUTH GLADIATORS :- Team Manager Garry May. Ben Barker, Dan Gilkes, Jake Turner and Kyle Howarth. CRADLEY HEATHENS :- Team Manager Will Pottinger. Paul Starke, Alfie Bowtell, Adam Roynon and Luke Killeen. SOMERSET REBELS :- Team Manager Ray Kear. Charles Wright, James Wright, Lee Complin and Matt Bates. POOLE PIRATES :- Team Manager Neil Vatcher. Richie Worrell, Danyon Hume, Kyle Newman and Ben Trigger. be nice to get the team on track in a fixture that’s not relevant for result but gives them good lap time around the place.
  2. In that case Thomas for the 4 point Aussie
  3. As apposed to searching through 10s of pages of some of which are rubbish. what is the predicted poole line up ? 1- worrall 2- 4 point Aussie 3- cook 4- cook 5- lawson 6 - roynon 7- Newman ?
  4. 1. Howarth 2.Gilkes 3.Barker 4.Starke 5.Worrall 6. 4.21 7. Trigger
  5. Maybe rumul and Roynon to finish. Really unsure the last 2 with 9.34 left
  6. Personally think trigger is a good signing. He is not going to beat many but there’s more pros than cons. he won’t cost a lot coming from plymouth. he will understand he’s likely to only have 3 rides but when you only have to drive 10 mins down the road it’ll be fine and he will have a load of 2nd half races as well. he knows his way around Plymouth and he’ll beat a few of the other two pointers. hell learn and is willing to learn. May always was going to go with a 2 pointer historically and this makes a lot more sense than bringing someone from up north down.
  7. When did Lawson ride at number 1 last year … ?!
  8. 1- Ritchie Worrall 2- Jack Thomas 3- Ben Barker 4- Dan Gilkes 5- Danny king 6- Alfie Bowtell 7- Natha Ablitt / Ben Trigger
  9. Looks like a lot less meetings for Plymouth now in champ so very possible to have a NDL team.
  10. I like this but realistically don’t think complin will be at Plymouth as much as I’d want him to be. maybe hav Kyle Newman at 4, gilkes at 2 and a 2 pointer at reserve with Alfie. That way Alfie, Dan and Lyle share reserve all season. with the home track advantage for scoring bonus points I’d like to think that team wouldn’t get beat to many times at home and build up a big enough lead to get the aggregate point.
  11. This forum is getting beyond the realms of worth viewing any more as it just turns in the pointless conversation between people trying to wind others up. Shame really but come on here to see and discuss speedway and it’s just not a lot of discussion now about speedway. maybe it’s time for a new forum or this one to get it back on track.
  12. I think Ben will be back to be honest. In regards to trigger he maybe a season to soon but I just think he’s local, he’s on a 2 point average plus it seems to be a way may builds his team. If he only has 3 races at home because the stronger reserve takes it then it’s not to far to travel home.
  13. 1 - K Howarth - 8.6 2 - Gilkes - 4.55 3 - Barker - 7.80 4 - 5 - R Worrall - 8.29 6 - bowtell - 4.28 7 - Trigger - 2-00 4.48 for final rider if it is howarth. Would be interesting too if Bowtell/Gilkes gets a discount for being injured. ( will bowtell even be back if he’s done extensive damage )
  14. I’m at this stage …. Not sure how to go on final two riders. Go…… 2 x 6.5 riders 1 x 8 point rider and 1 x 5 point rider 1 x 9 point rider and 1 x 4 point rider 1 - R Worrall - 8.29 2 - Gilkes - 4.55 3 - 4 - 5 - Barker - 7.80 6 - bowtell - 4.28 7 - Trigger - 2-00 13.08 Left for final two.
  15. I think for example £5,000 more a season means more than a £2 medal.
  16. No indication if they will or will not run a team. but just incase they do Plymouth team next year if GSA on BSPA website are correct, trigger and Roynon would be a good start.
  17. Of course it’s done and is what it is however personally I think had he stayed with Plymouth and we not had needed the lovely R/R all season. On top of that he wouldn’t have taken our MPT. It wasn’t so much at Lawson the dig it was more the poole fans with double standards saying ones correct and ones not.
  18. Regardless of if he did or didn’t he agreed to sign for the club and made an announcement. He was there when it was done and said by the club as he was at the meeting. all he really did was say yeah yeah I’ll sign for you if you give me these guest bookings and then did a u turn cause he has other options. lack of respect for Plymouth and the fans really. he’s not gunna say ohhh I quit a team spot and had no idea what was going to happen next and just so happen to end up at poole.
  19. So it’s ok for Lawson to speak to poole when at Plymouth but not ok for basso to speak to Glasgow when he was at poole ….. interesting.
  20. He may or may not be but he would be relatively cheap for a rider as he lives in Plymouth and He knows the track. Gary may often builds his team with a 2 point rider. He may change this year but just going on history.
  21. Just say it stays at 42…. 1 - Worrall - 8.30 2 - Gilkes - 4.55 3 - Barker 7.80 4 - MPT - 6.76 5 - 6 - Bowtell - 4.29 7 - Trigger - 2.00 33.70 Leaving 8.30 ….. Lawson haha ! Could have….. Lawson (ha ha ) Nicholls King Worrall
  22. Kennett - 8.40 barker - 8 MPT - 6.76 options to replace could be Sedgeman - 7.04 Nicholls - 8.45 Starke - 5.05 batchelor - 7.29 Aarnio - 7.55 Allen - 7.02 summers - 6.67 flint - 7.18 if Edinburgh or Redcar lose could be Charles wright - 8.00 Riss (if fit) - 8.58 kerr - 7.44
  23. with 5% added points for each rider is below - Kennett - 8.82 barker - 8.40 MPT - 7.10 options to replace could be Sedgeman - 7.04 Nicholls - 8.45 Starke - batchelor - 7.29 Aarnio - 7.55 Allen - 7.02 summers - 6.67 flint - 7.18 if Edinburgh or Redcar lose could be Charles wright - 8.00 Riss (if fit) - 8.58 kerr - 7.44
