  1. Yep Rosco is a good shout actually, he always seemed to be able to pick a competitive side and get a good team spirit going.
  2. So I was just wondering, was there any confirmation on whether this was true and if so how long he been locked back up for? I ask, not to speculate, but with genuine interest as to whether his aspirations to return to racing are now over?
  3. Am I the only one who thinks this is a real shame if true? I was one of those who thought no thanks to riding at my club and he shouldn’t be allowed back near the sport but I watched his interview and thought he showed genuine remorse and wanted to put it behind him and be a better person, from that point I thought everyone deserves a second chance but maybe I’m just gullible.
  4. Didn’t Sam used to be team manager at Reading?
  5. He’ll be in a team before the end of the season, he said in the interview that he’s already had offers.
  6. Weather has not been good today, heavy rain and strong winds. Forecast says rain overnight and then lighter rain up to 3pm tomorrow
  7. Yes apologies for the confusion, his exact words were “We have until Wednesday to find a 7th rider to be able to enter into the league” so I had no idea the deadline was connected to Saturdays postponed meeting
  8. Ah thank you for the clarification, I’d misinterpreted that it was the league deadline today, makes more sense now why the postponement has given them more time. Only thing is he did specifically say to allow them to enter the league? Sounded more than just the pre meeting declaration
  9. I’m not sure how that makes a difference, if today is the deadline then today is the deadline?
  10. No I’m not talking about them needing enough riders if they were riding Saturday. Mark Phillips has stated that the league have given them a deadline of today to declare a full team to be accepted into the league
  11. So today is the day that Plymouth have to sign a 7th rider to be allowed into the league. I’m assuming that even if it comes to it then they would sign a NL 2 pointer and then bring Nico back in once fully fit or a stronger rider if one became available
  12. Thanks for running this again, my team below please. Nathan Ablitt - (SCUN/SHEFF) 8.49 Freddy Hodder - (Belle Vue) 6.44 Ace Pjiper (SCUN/SHEFF) 5.81 Max James (Leicester) 5.70 Harry McGurk (Belle Vue) 3.00 Vinnie Foord (Leicester) 3.81 Mark Parker ( Edinburgh) 3.00 Total - 36.25
  13. So then it can’t be true that they can use guests up to 75% of Covatti’s average
  14. Ok so they literally have to sign someone even if it’s a 2 point national league rider? Is there a British rider without a team who could sign temporarily whilst they keep looking for a heat leader? I mean it gives that rider a chance to impress either Plymouth or another team for when a chance comes up to replace an injured or out of form rider? I guess Ben Morley is the obvious choice? Or maybe James Wright?
  15. So genuine question, what options do Plymouth have on Saturday if they haven’t found anyone? I’m guessing they won’t be allowed to use R/R?
  16. They haven’t been able to find a replacement rider yet, have tried all across Europe but not found anyone willing to ride unless asking for stupid money
  17. Why thankfully? A proven heat leader at this level, especially in a weakened league
  18. Press and practice is this Saturday, will a full team be there?
  19. Thank you, it turns out that there is a stream tonight! I’ve just ordered it
  20. Any news from the press and practice day / meet the riders night about a replacement rider?
  21. I’ve seen him racing quite regularly on the Isle of Wight and yes he’s back to full fitness. Tbh all the chat on here has proven that there is hardly anyone available on the right average so I’d give him a chance and then swap Covatti back in if it doesn’t work out
