The poor crowd was certainly due to peoples doubts that it would be on and because it was available to view for £12.99 instead of £22. I expect there will now be many future meetings poorly attended due to the cheaper stay at home option. If a family watches it at home for £12.99 they will save say £37ish per family in admission fees. The very productive 50/'50 riders raffle will also be affected. Not good.

Lampart's GSA is 4.00. Nicholls is 8.38. Hardly a like for like. -
What League system do the fans want?
Barrow Boy 2 replied to WeymouthPirate's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'm with you on this because if teams raced on preferred nights the likes of Sayfutdinov, Holder, Bewley etc may not be able to ride in England which would be a shame. I have longed for the dwindling number of tracks to be all in just the one league though but it would reduce the quality. Difficult. So I too do not have the answer. -

Agree that the team finishing top of the league be League Champions. How about replacing the Play Offs with an end of season K/O cup? -
2024 Premiership Predictions
Barrow Boy 2 replied to StarBoy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
By using all riders actual 2023 averages (not GSA rolling averages) it comes out as follows:- 1-Ipswich-48.50 2-Sheffield-47.84 3-Leicester-46.91 4-King's Lynn-46.87 5-Belle Vue-46.77 6-Oxford-46.64 7-Birmingham-43.51 For Oxford I have given Janowski an average similar to Sayfutdinov & Doyle. For Tungate his most current BPL average which I'm sure he will improve and I fully expect Boughan to improve. I would therefore think that Oxford will finish much higher. -
Now that the BNL teams average has been increased by 0.25 to allow Max Perry to compete would Leicester have included him had this been done earlier?
-
And because it is a weaker league most riders will improve their starting averages. To date there are just 5 riders who will start on an average over 7.
-
Joe Thompson has now signed for Plymouth who I understand are to race on Saturdays as will The Cubs.
-
I hope you are correct but Max Perry has already said he cannot continue with the Cubs presumeably because of what Flagrag thought would be happening.
-
But Flagrag said that only one NDL rider may also be allowed to ride in The BCL. Hence Max Perry not being allowed to ride for the Cubs because he has signed for Poole if Joe Thompson remains a Cub.
-
Max James has now signed for BCL Edinburgh. Does this prevent him from riding for the Cubs as well.
-
Nothing about this on either Poole's or Leicester's sites
-
How about Max Perry-7.75 Tom Spencer-5.78 Max James-5.70 George Congreve-5.60 Mickey Simpson-4.23 Vinny Foord-3.51 Connor King-3.39 Total-35.96

Leicester will first chance to retain Drew Kemp. All BPL teams are allowed to retain their 2023 rider if they and the rider wishes do they not? -
My Top 20 Riders At the end of last season including riders who for various reasons were unable to be there at the end are as follows:- 01-Henry Atkins-Oxford-1070 02-Jordon Jenkins-Oxford-1065 03-Connor Bailey-Workington-1050 04-Dan Thompson-Leicester-1025 05-Joe Thompson-Leicester-1000 06-Alfie Bowtell-Mildenhall-980 07-Max Clegg-Edinburgh-970 08-Ashton Boughen-Leicester-960 09-Jacob Hook-Edinburgh-950 10-James Pearson-Belle Vue-910 11-Nathan Ablitt-Kent-905 12-Jack Smith-Belle Vue-880 13-Ben Morley-Kent-875 14-Sam Hagon-Belle Vue-860 15-Adam Roynon-Edinburgh-850 16-Max Perry-Leicester-845 17-Luke Killeen-Oxford-815 18-Lee Complin-Mildenhall-795 19-Connor Coles-Berwick-770 20-Ryan Kinsley-Oxford-760

You are correct but Harris leaving did not help. -
As this is my last list I have included those riders who for various reasons were not actually riding at the end who I have not included before. 01-Ryan Douglas-Scunthorpe-1040 02-Sam Masters-Oxford-1035 03-Chris Harris-Glasgow-1030 04-Josh Pickering-Edinburgh-1010 05-Benjamin Basso-Glasgow-1000 06-Charles Wright-Redcar-995 07-Danny KIng-Redcar-960 08-Craig Cook-Edinburgh-950 09-Richard Lawson-Poole-945 10-Kyle Howarth-Plymouth-940 11-Vadim Tarasenko-Glasgow-935 12-Rory Shlein-Berwick-905 13-Richie Worrall-Plymouth-900 14-Steve Worrall-Poole-895 15-Scott Nicholls-Oxford-880 16-Lewis Kerr-Oxford-870 17-Leon Flint-Berwick-820 18-Tom Brennan-Glasgow-805 19-Ben Barker-Plymouth-800 20-Nick Morris-Birmingham-795

When it was decided that this fixture would be played it was ruled that Leicester would have to provide a team of BCL standards up to a 40 point limit based on start of the season averages. This is a joke as Poole's riders having topped the league would have obviously increased .They have in fact risen to a combined average of 45/46 wheras Leicester's selected riders only amount to the agreed 40. How is this fare?

Douglas is a much better rider around Beaumont Park than he is around Monmore Green -
In my final list I have included riders who would have qualified if they had not been injured and were not competing at the end. 01-Emil Sayfutdinov-Ipswich-1080 02-Robert lambert-King's Lynn-1050 03-Jack Holder-Sheffield-1040 04-Tai Woffinden-Sheffield-1015 05-Jason doyle-Ipswich-1010 06-Tobias Musielak-Sheffield-960 07-Nicolai Klindt-King's Lynn-950 08-Jamon Lidsey-Belle Vue-930 09-Max Fricke-Leicester-920 10-Brady Kurtz-Belle Vue-910 11-Dan Bewley-Belle Vue-830 12-Danny King-Ipswich-825 13-Josh Pickering-Sheffield-815 14-Artem Laguta-Peterborough-790 15-Ben Cook-Peterborough-770 16-Ryan Douglas-Wolverhampton-765 17-Benjamin Basso-Peterborough-750 18-Vadim Tarasenko-Peterborough-745 19-Chris Harris-Peterborough-700 20-Neils Kristian Iversen-Peterborough-680

No news yet but if Leicester continue in 2024 and remain in The BPL then I hope that Ryan Douglas will return along with Chris Harris who should not have been let go [n the first place. It all went wrong after he was exchanged for Richie Worrall.
