  1. After last night according to the averages Cameron will drop to reserve from 1st June and Ashley will move up, Cameron should pick up more points there and it will be interesting to see how Ashley gets on
  2. Why have Rory on the front cover when he wasn't in it?
  3. Wolves operating r/r for Kyle Howarth who is away in a gp qualifier. Lions missing Hans Andersen and Danny King, and have Ricky Wells and Ritchie Worrall as guests
  4. Apart from an 8 point win in the first leg of the grand final last year without Freddie and Jacob
  5. Same as I was when Belle Vue choked and let Rory win the penultimate race of the playoff semi-final to defeat from the jaws of victory. The disbelief from the home fans was a joy to behold lol
  6. Ah that would be the final we had to compete without our best 2 riders and not allowed adequate replacements yet still only lost by 1 point on aggregate. Choke of the millennium lol, you're having a laugh
  7. Was at Belle Vue last year, don't see why their riders should get home advantage every year
  8. Well if he says it, it must be true, lucky he wasn't on his way to a belle vue meeting or gp
  9. Another one who has history of pulling out of these meetings, hope he has a doctor's note this time
  10. Not that simple, only the top few teams sell out each week, it's more to do with how much football is on tv
  11. Pretty much agree with all that, Kyle seems to be struggling with an injury at the moment, he withdrew from Sheffields meeting this week after pulling up during his third ride. Hoping we keep it close enough to give us a decent chance in the second leg
  12. I'm sure the 1 over 8 rule was only for initial declarations, in any case if you no longer have a rider with a current gsa over 8 you could bring one in anyway
  13. True, if however they under perform tonight then we can put this argument to bed once and for all safe in the knowledge they are just poor
  14. Rolling averages already out on scb website and Poole currently total 41.2 as the 4 who didn't ride over here last year don't have a rolling average and are listed on their starting average. At what point do they get a rolling average as it is based on last 20 meetings
  15. No, all riders who weren't here last year are are still listed as their starting average as they haven't completed the necessary number of meetings for a rolling average. If indeed these rolling averages are being used Poole are the major losers from it as their riders averages for this year total 37.79 where as their rolling averages over 20 meetings total 41.2. (Due to 4 riders still on their startimg average). Thats a major difference
  16. ??? Where ate these averages, speedway GB show current GSA with only this year's meetings included
  17. That's my understanding aswell but I was under the impression that the 1 over 8 rule was only for initial team declarations. Currently BV have 2 riders averaging over 8 and Wolves have 3. After the new GSA's are released after 4h and 4a meetings what's to stop a team making a like for like change of one of these riders as that is allowed within the rules without redeclaring
  18. I suggest you reread the thread, all I said was Rory was the most likely to challenge Jacob for the no 1 spot, and you said you couldn't believe I picked Rory over Sam. At no point did I say Rory was our best rider, although on current form he arguably is
  19. Totally agree regarding Schlein, people scoffed at me when I said he may be the one to challenge Jacob for the no 1 slot but it looks likely to happen now
  20. Yes it does but it also says unless permission granted by the mc, I would have thought that would be in the case of a long term injury
  21. Hope you enjoy it, at least you got Ash Morris riding, and he's in fine form, 14+2 for Newcasle yesterday
