Belle Vue V Kings Lynn Stars 9th April
Call me wolfie replied to g13webb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The track will have dried out nicely after the last couple days but the rain returns tomorrow and showers forecast throughout Monday. Let's hope the forecast changes -
Belle Vue V Kings Lynn Stars 9th April
Call me wolfie replied to g13webb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think you're right, your first meeting could well be home to Wolves on Wednesday, that looks promising at the moment. Will probably be our first meeting too as Monday looks to be unlikely at the moment -
When will our first meeting be, weather not looking great for monday at the moment
-
No he's right surely, saw the weather forecast yesterday for today and said there's no way it would be on. You been going by the same radar as Shovlar?

Poole V Wolves SGB PREM A. 4th April 2018
Call me wolfie replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
As already stated you know nothing about what the weather was like up here yesterday, we had heavy rain overnight and there were showers and drizzle well into the evening, had they not called it off in the morning Belle vue riders and their supporters would have had a wasted journey. There's not a chance the meeting would have gone ahead, believe me CVS would not have cancelled a bank holiday meeting lightly -
Was just replying to starman

I'm sure I remember reading on here a few months ago that Matt Ford was helping him with his visa application

Technically Poole may not have broken the rules, just bent them due to poor wording or, yes you could say, exploited a loophole. They seem to be very good at it. Similarly there are loopholes in the taxation system which many individuals and companies exploit to their advantage. Technically they have not broken the law but it is most definately morally corrupt.

The whole average system is flawed, riders form can change so much over 2 or 3 years unyet you can use an old average to build your team. Any average attained prior to the previous season should be disregarded and a suitale conversion factor found from the leagues they have ridden in the previous season. That's the only fair way
-
No he's just full of himself it seems, it really doesn't matter what you do as a job or where you live as long as you're happy, at least we get to watch our teams on a regular basis
-
Are you a Poole fan Knightime?
-
Mmm something fishy going on, after last year's shenanigans it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he's trying to engineer a way out. After all it's well known he wanted to be at Somerset with his brother and Doyle this season. Sorry, I know he's had issues but I really think there's more to it, especially if he continues with his other commitments
-
Similarly has he pulled out of the Simon Stead farewell meeting on Sunday?
-
So CH will be ok by 4th April, home to Wolves, we shall see
-
No of course not but appearing in 9 of the 11 gp's is a little different to a single appearance as a wildcard isnt it
-
How does that work, they can't use PK as a guest as he's not in a declared 1-7 and if and when Holder decides to return if PK hasn't increased his average to 7.16 or over they will have to redeclare and by then his average may not fit.confused!!!!

Yes and feeling much better, PA said he looks healthier than he has for years
-
Nathan and Ash both have new engines which they say are much better than their old ones. Nathan in particular says he has never been so well prepared for a season, he is hoping to pick up a championship ride asap as he admits it will be tough only riding for Wolves. Cameron said he had new engines towards the end of last season which coincided with his improved form. Jacob wasn't present as he had the chance of 2 days of practice in Poland. Rory is delighted to be chosen as captain and is relishing the challenge. The were hoping to get some practice in today CVS and PA once again stated their disapproval of the 1 over 8 rule but said it has resulted in the teams being much more even and CVS can't believe we are only 12-1 with bet365 All in all it was a good evening hosted by Ryan Guest as Porkie was ill

He is riding on Sunday at Simon Steads farewell meeting at Sheffield
-
No idea but there is nothing to suggest he won't be fit, he has agreed to ride at Sheffield on Sunday for Simon Steads farewell meeting
-
Oh dear, if you really think we have rescheduled the p&p day to next Monday because we are scared of riding against Poole, then you really are more deluded than I thought.
-
I read it as guest or r/r allowed for top 3 (heat leaders) and r/r only for riders 4-5 (second string) unless both are missing in which case 1 guest and 1 r/r. Reserves are guest only
-
Press and practice scheduled for monday so that will be a good indicator
-
Poor results early on will lead to changes, Freddie aside, this team is stronger than the one that started last year
