Sgb Championship Best Pairs 2017
Moranboys replied to idh's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
time that the fours and pairs and the plc and clerk should be at a neutral venue.the pairs ,for mesas much as i like the oak tree arena, should be at cardiff.not sure about the rest as all of the doubling up means that someone is going to have an advantage. ?? which track -

is it fair having the fours at your place? -
yes you are spot on.i heard it as clear as anything, in fact, it was mentioned several times so i don<t know either what the reason is for andre not riding.quite looking forward to this as i like to watch both adam roynan and richard hall ride.

sorry for intruding but couldn't find a thread for this.what on earth is happening to our sport.bspa now suggesting 5 man races and riders of two clubs protesting, one of which is rob godfrey,s!! pairs meeting now reduced to eight teams.i do truly fear for the sport as this season has been one shamble after another.the governing bodies really do need to get a grip or i can see a lot of supporters turning their backs on the sport altogether. -
hands off lass mate.he,s going nowhere

Sheffield V Berwick Thursday 13th July
Moranboys replied to allthegearbutnaeidea's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
well done to the tigers.got stuck in and dug in deep when it mattered.also well done to berwick for putting up a fight.i,for one, do like the t/r ruling as it keeps the meeting more interesting.yes, berwick would probably have been in deep doodoo without it but kept the meeting alive for them with a slim chance of picking up a point.yes, lucky to have richard lawson as a guest but we had guests last season that got us through to the play off final so no qualms there.all in all a very entertaining meeting run very efficiently by the promotion.also that georgie wood looks a fine prospect especially around owlerton(first time?).would be good to sign him if possible along with jan graversen. -

absolutely ridiculous comments."this sort of team" are still putting their necks on the line every time that they take to the track,so be grateful that at least you have a team what with all of the injuries the promotion have to contend with.its only the same now with our reserve injuries. -

well done to all the lads on a fine victory.a very good performance from all the team with many chipping in with points when it mattered.good to see todd finding some form.hopefully the team can kick on from here and trouble those play off places.roll on thursday. -
Ipswich V Scunthorpe Ch 6-7-17@7-30pm
Moranboys replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
bit of a derogatory comment towards scunthorpe.all meetings should be appealing if you are a supporter.maybe when ipswich are at the e.w.r some scunthorpe supporters may miss that fixture due to it being less appealing than some other matches!!! p.s maybe if you get a decent race strip then many more matches may be appealing. -
have to agree there.as much as i like watching both of them ride, their away form has let them down badly especially rob.todd has the ability but looks pitifully slow away from owlerton.think the management have to act fast if we have any ambition about making the play offs and this could well be the turning point as to how well we do, only problem is not sure if the riders are out there to begin with.

thanks to yourself and cyclone for the explanation, it,s just that when we have had junior meetings at sheffield even at short notice, season tickets were always valid.

perks pretty handy round ewr -
sorry to intrude onto your site but have just been browsing your official website and couldn't help but notice that the caledonian riders championship was a meeting whereupon season tickets were not valid.at sheffield the only meetings where season tickets are not valid are b.s.p.a run events.come on Edinburgh promotion and have a little leeway to the supporters that commit there hard earned money at the start of the season and apologies if i am speaking out of turn.

Moranboys replied to RedcarB123's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
yes the meeting was abandoned due to visibility issues and if there is light drizzle tonight around start time, whats changed.surely after all this rain over last 24 hours+ the track will be difficult at best so not sure that i want to see f.t.g every race. -

Moranboys replied to Blackadder's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
agree with you there spin king perhaps with the possible exception of paul stark.thought he was worth a few more than his tally suggests.heat 15 was indeed a classic which you are sometimes going to get when you have 4 "racers" in the heat.some fine racing on a well prepared surface although i still feel that 2nd bend needs sorting as has been well dodgy all season. -
well done to all the team today.that could well be a season defining win.to be honest the way the team rode last thursday i did expect to come away with at least a point.josh b and lass seem to have now found some decent form.josh g has been amazing yet again.13 points away from home from your number 1 should be the score to expect.and even with kyle scoring valuable points without winning a heat just goes to prove the strength in depth.a special mention and thank you to james shares for his vital contribution today.get him signed up damian before someone else does.u.t.t
