  1. what about season ticket holders then.what do they get as recompense?
  2. if he can get a visa, would love to see ty proctor back at owlerton next season
  3. some great racing but my god what a drag.i was losing the will to live at around heat 5.why can there be no ambulance on site at around say 6.30ish.we were also told that the fair was in the car park so we set off accordingly only to find it had buggered off.no fireworks,3 quid for an old programme with 2 inserts?why 2?seemed to take another age until todd was announced as withdrawn.any newbies tonight would have been mind blown.7 guests, waiting for the ambulance, curfew,no fireworks, jesus i think if i had been a newcomer then that would have finished me off.other than that, a fine season overall for the tigers.good job cameras weren,t hers.try explaining that one away!!
  4. all i can say island its been said on numerous occasions is,bspa, get your bloody act together and get this shambles of a sport sorted out once and for all.why on earth did we have the two completely meaningless sheffield - leicester play off meetings.why has it taken an eternity to get the k.o cup meetings run this late into the season? injuries apart, why have meetings been plagued with, what seems like, a million guests or our ever reliable friend r/r..? amongst other various ridiculous rulings.meetings taking an eternity to complete.time wastingly excessive gardening at the start of a race.etc etc etc etc etc.the sport, in its current state, cannot be taken seriously especially by newcomers.it is bogged down in its own bureaucracy.things, and a lot of them, need to change and fast before even the diehards get fed up and move on.
  5. why are all of these scunthorpe comments on a sheffield redcar thread.should be on scunthorpe post surely?
  6. no josh bates tonight as he has pulled a neck muscle riding last friday at ipswich so ty proctor stands in. no rob lambert either.m.p.toft guests
  7. i also couldn't believe the season ticket holders (of which i,m one) moaning about having to pay to see last nights meeting.this was the first meeting that we had to pay for apart from the pairs, which was a b.s.p.a event anyway.what do you want, blood?ipswich, apparantly, started to charge season ticket holders at the semis stage albeit with a couple of quid reduction.
  8. for goodness sake, anybody even hinting at the meeting being fixed need to get in the real world.leicester were stronger and quicker on the night end of.nobody knows what is going to happen with the league structure next year until after the a.g.m.as for slating the team following last night that is utterly ridiculous.this promotion have worked miracles with both clubs in such a short space of time.we loose one meeting and all the doom merchants come out of the woodwork.for goodness sake, this season has been spectacular and i have enjoyed every single meeting at home this year and quite a few away.i said before the season started that this promotion have been like a breath of fresh air to the club and have put together a very very good side and they have had some fine racing also at b.park.we need to get behind the team for the remainder of the season and for goodness sake stop insulting this promotions intelligence.u.t.t
  9. because maybe if i know which team you go and watch then maybe i could comment on wether or not the racing at your particular venue is boring.
  10. you stated that you were a neutral at the meeting.the question was quite straightforward.which team do you support or do you not have a team to support?
  11. you've still not answered my question from the ipswich post on which team you support
  12. a fabulous atmosphere and night though at a very welcoming foxhall.
  13. maybe from a racing point of view the champs weren't going to take any unnecessary risks and end up on their backsides so really it was up to the witches to make a fight of it and apart from keeps who did, you were let down quite badly especially from your number 1 and 5.fair play you gave it a shot, but even i though that it would have been a lot closer.
  14. wasn't boring from our lads point of view, would it have been double boring if in fact ipswich had won!
  15. just got up after a late arrival back from foxhole.words fail me.i must admit that following the first leg, things would have been very close, but what an absolutely terrific performance from all of the tigers and you could see that they were hungry for the title.to a man, they were awesome last night and i,m still on a very big high.was a bit gutted that me and the missus couldn't be on the centre green to savour the win as she suffers a lot with her hips but she was so emotional that maybe she wouldn't have been able to see her way there anyway.after following the tigers for a very long time this must rank as one of the best moments of my life.very good crowd, good atmosphere, ipswich fans are a terrific set of supporters and was having a really good chat about all sorts speedway related.commiserations to all connected with ipswich but a truly huge well done to everyone connected with the champions.
  16. a "massif" good luck to scott and all of the tigers.will be there cheering you on.utt
  17. and if he does ride tomorrow, then in my opinion ,he should never be seen in your colours ever again.another panthers scenario, one person bigger than their club.an important match like this and you miss out on him.not very good.
  18. apparently now, should we defeat glasgow following the second leg of the play-offs,then the first leg of the play off final will be this coming thursday in place of the redcar fixture as the stadium would not be available the following week so what happens to the k.o.c fixture against ipswich as this fixture is still in the fixture list.anyone shed any light?

  20. another huge performance from hopefully the champions elect.this team this year have been nothing short of sensational.even when our mercurial captain has, by his own high standards'a fairly quiet night, it is testament to this team of the strength in depth that we have.the whole team from 1 to 7 have been superb and i don't think i have seen josh bates so pumped up for a meeting, he was a great example to the team spirit that has been here all season and they all want to do well for our brilliant team manager who has been awesome.the whole season, barring all the wrangling and stupid rulings within the sport, has been brilliant.the one big difference for us, especially at home, has been the signings of jan and georgie at reserve.jan has been a revelation and georgie is going to be one hell of a rider over the next few seasons.glasgow did try last night and the tie is not over yet as we all know what can happen in speedway but if the team all ride to their capabilities then there will only be one outcome.i also think that the monarchs will overturn their deficit and make the final.well done to the team last night and to simon and the promotion.role on tuesday and u.t.t
  21. do we have a re-staging date for the meeting tomorrow because i don't think there is any way that it will be on looking at the forecast.
  22. can't believe that season ticket holders are being charged for this meeting.at sheffield, season tickets are valid.it,s just the final, if we make it ,that is chargeable
