  1. Thanks for that (I think) ..... on our way home again then ☹️
  2. IMO - 100% Lindgren. Looked like he leant over way too far and lost control of the bike - then the bikes contacted sending Freddie off accross the corner at which point Kenneth kinda laid it down. Cookie was lucky not to be collected too. 100% racing incident Best wishes to Freddie for a full & speedy recovery
  3. IMO, for what it's worth, the Yorkshire Tigers have hit form and are the very top of their game at the right time It will take a mammoth effort from anyone to overturn them I can't talk about last night but I know our guys tried their hearts out last week but the Tigers were a gear above and highly motivated The title is Sheffields for finishing top but the trophy is theirs to lose
  4. Not at all. Our Lads will give it their best shot!!!! It should be a good meeting
  5. I played hooky from physio to go to Sheffield last week so I'll have to settle for updates tonight Safe meeting all. Hope our reserves can do the business (please) Best wishes to Mark
  6. Congratulations to Sheffield on finishing Top As to who, if anyone, can topple them..... I have no idea but safe meetings for all, may the rain sod off and best team win
  7. As I have said already on the other thread, I do not condone James's actions but I was on the back straight on Saturday and the "abuse" was very much one way (from the crowd) with young James retaliating. One guy on the back straight yelling "Away ya w@....r" and the home straight absolutely erupted. Not the kind of behaviour to be teaching young kids either. I know nothing about why he was having such a problem on Saturday but he certainly made up for it on Sunday and also did a great job for Glasgow on Friday. I have spoken to James at Edinburgh and found him to be a nice lad
  8. I know I would have been upset if I was a Workington fan last night but the score is deceiving as there were some pretty good races Now, can I play Devils advocate again even tho' I do not condone James's behaviour. James is a young lad who has earned himself a "reputation at the gate" and sadly, he will probably never lose it now - the ref's & fans are watching!!! The pressure he must feel every time he rocks up to the start line must be immense and the frustration when it goes wrong again must be even more immense. I truly hope James can get past all this as he is a great (GB) rider when he has a good meeting
  9. Well done the lads in Monarchs race jackets and Jake Allen Mitchell was the difference for us and to steal / alter a phrase " Super RITCHIE Worral .... many thanks 👍 Gate 3 was a graveyard
  10. Try enlarging it and you will see his right foot is practically touching the tyre
  11. Best wishes to Lewis, I believe he already has metal-work in his shoulder hence a very nasty injury for him
  12. If you're an Edinburgh fan (logo) just give me a shout at the track shop and it's yours
  13. Correct me if I'm wrong but this thread is for Speedway World Cup 2017 and that is what I want to read about and discuss Would it be too much to ask that the Tai "debaters" head for the Tai thread? Or better stil..... leave the guy alone!!! His life.... his business!!! Team GB won on Saturday and go to the final on Saturday which is something to be very proud of and celebrate!!!
  14. Hi Peter, I should have one which you are welcome to have. Does it matter if it is filled in?
  15. Can anyone help me with a link to Kings Lynn track photographer please?
  16. Congratulations to Rosco and team GB Captain Cookie was sublime and his pass on Chris Holder superb Felt for Super Stevie with the restarts but he kept his nerve Robert well lived up to Roscos faith in him Bomber, I think he should put a GB race jacket under his suit because he ups a gear the minute he pulls one on The Joker is the biggest Joke in Speedway alongside the t/r Saturday will be a different job but the boys will give it their best shot..... good luck lads Keep on enjoying the experience
  17. The meeting was being run by Scott Frame, youth team manager, and is self funding hence the need for sponsorship etc and the reason why season tickets could not be used
  18. The Emmerdales are again inviting supporters to join them on the trip from Cardiff to Somerset for the Pairs Pick up will be from the National Museum at a cost of £15-18 depending on how full the bus is Booking or more details from Stuart by phoning 07762796382 or email coatesstuart@gmail.com
