Maybe because it was the organisation that was the problem. If last night was anything like the Belle Vue meeting there last time it was terrible trying to get in. 2 queues with no indication which queue was what, if wanted to pay on night there was just 2 people with clipboards, if needed change they had to go to hut and get it each time.

Tom is really struggling for speed at the NSS recently, not for lack of trying, must be an engine/setup issue. For Belle Vue it was decent but not great last night, should have been comfortably over 50 against that team. Will need to step it up more against Wolves and Sheffield. Track was slicker last night, slower times, better racing. Kurtz better, Bewley didn’t make a single start all night and had to come from back every time.

Just got back from the track, watched couple of heats, along with the cock up with the heat lineups, why every time the riders go down home straight do they switch to 2 stationary cameras on start line, must have missed so many overtakes down straight into first bend, just use the main camera and follow them round!

They probably asked the last 2 years and been turned down so didn’t bother asking this year.

Info for anyone traveling. There is currently a lack of parking at NSS at moment, there is usually 3 car parks onsite, one is being used as a covid test centre, another one has been half used as vaccination centre and the other half is for staff and permits. The huge Showcase cinema car park across the road has now been demolished so is a massive loss and the greyhound stadium is being demolished. That only leaves the school just down the road with 200 spaces, parking in there tomorrow has been put up from £3 usually to £5 tomorrow. There is quite a lot of street parking around but advice getting there early. The council need to come up with a plan for the SoN.
