This annoys me so much

Very tough meeting for the mighty Comets, Danny King especially has shown a real liking for the GT Tyres Arena. Jonatan Grahn is probably an upgrade on the current form of Jake Mulford having already had two excellent meetings at Northside. Paco is not Eric Riss who also loves Northside but has shown in the past that he is capable of double figures. Jason Edwards another rider who has had plenty of laps around Northside and achieved double figures. Jason has shown good form following his recent return from injury. Both Ace Pijper and Jody Scott go well at Northside. Comets will need a real solid team performance with another scrap for every point attitude and good starts. Should be a cracker ! UTC 👊

Bit harsh for me that Bellers101 . Originally you guys had booked Tate but an injury in Poland tuesday prevented that so Antti stepped in. Not easy getting guests on a Friday with 6 teams riding, you might have been left up rubbish creek without a paddle without them. Jacob a reserve guesting at No2 a difficult position. In his first race he finished 3rd in a 4-2 with Charles Wright. In his 2nd ride he had a mechanical failure , in his 3rd ride in heat 8 he was disappointing but coming out of gate 4. He only got 3 rides and rightly so the way the Bears reserves were riding tonight. Antti always starts with a pretty poor 1st ride but ran a third behind Kerr and Cook in heat 3 won in the fastest time of the night, he was last in his 2nd ride out of the grave yard gate 4, he then ran a 2nd from gate 2 behind Zach Cook with Edwards last from you guessed it gate 4 before winning heat 14 from gate 3 beating heat 14 specialist Cook to put the Bears 4 points clear with only heat 15 to come. Oh by the way Richard Lawsons first 2 rides from gate 4 yielded 1 point in total.

Bears state that Mulford is on International duty.

Thought Jake had been taken ill at the Glasgow meeting because he pulled up in his first race. But I could be mistaken .

Didn't think they performed badly. The Pirates are not as strong as last season. Tom Brennan and Ben Cook were exceptional for you guys last year.

Agree and you won't hear me talking about Worky winning the only remaining trophy open to us. If we manage to make the playoffs and have our full team intact I will reassess then. The chances of Bowes and Etheridge scoring paid 27 between them again are slim but, for Bowes in particular that was a great first outing at Wimborne Rd and will have instilled a sense of confidence in both riders that they could go back and give another good account of themselves.

Batch and Antti are frustrating for different reasons. If Antti wants a team place in the Premiership then he needs to reproduce his Northside racing demeanour more often away from home. The rider we see at home can be so far removed from the one we see at most away tracks.

Bearing in mind we have some away vulnerability I am delighted with the bonus . I think the performance tonight from Fraser, Jye and Jacob deserves a lot of credit. For Fraser to score so well on his first visit to the home of the champions is great, take a bow Fraser.

Sounds unpleasant for Vinnie. Need Batch and Antti to show some of their Northside form.

That is a blow for the Comets, Tate would have attacked the track. Hope he is fit for Saturday.

completely agree, most races strung out after a lap. Kelvin gotta talk it up, could be at risk of being dropped? wouldn't surprise me.

Thank you. I haven't seen any of our home streamed meetings so i'm pleased they are providing worthwhile entertainment. The weather during the meeting was lovely, but you could see the dark clouds to the east were not far away.

This is the big question, I'm hoping we will be more competitive than our early season displays at Scunthorpe, Redcar and Edinburgh. Hopefully we can attack these and the remaining tracks with more self belief.

In light of the close match in the BSN Trophy I admit to being a little uneasy before the meeting today and felt we would miss Antti . The uneasiness proved unfounded as both Fraser and Batch produced their best performances of the season to see us home with relative ease. 7 points from R/R was a decent return while the team produced a solid performance throughout with 11 heat winners and only 3 last places. Scunny proved not to be the same force as they were in that BSN meeting with only Steve Worrall and Connor Mountain winning races. Hard to gauge how good this win was when Jake Allen , Declan Kennedy and Simon Lambert score only 2 points between them . Declan was particularly impressive on his last visit scoring an impressive 10 points on his own. The Scorps today were probably as bad as we were on our BSN visit to the EWR so would have been hard watch for any of their fans that made the journey. Thanks to the Plymouth Fans who made a visit following the cancellation of their meeting at Berwick 👍. Thanks also to any other fans making the journey to take in the meeting. I believe we were lucky with the weather today as the north east has apparently been deluged. Tough match coming up at Poole midweek followed by an attractive home fixture next Saturday against the Redcar Bears. They have had the better of us recently and I'm sure the boys will be looking to reverse that trend. Should be a cracker so get down, bring someone if they're willing, make some noise and create some atmosphere. UTC !👊

Need to get double figures from R/R to compensate for Antti missing but what guest would have achieved that ?.

If Scott had been riding for you guys at Worky when the score was 51-39 the result may have been different. Nikolai with his 18 point max was untouchable but had no real back up. Great signing !

Do you know anything is getting 'conveniently brushed under the carpet' or is this pure conjecture. Who are these ' creditors of the old trading company who will have lost out financially'?. Who won't get a penny back? . Perhaps you can clarify with examples what you mean by 'so many business practices are accepted as normal and acceptable' . if this is all assumption then with respect you should keep it to yourself instead of trying to make out the Comets have cheated fictitious creditors out of money.

If the Polish U24 league is no more next year will they be looking to come to the UK to ride?.
