I think a strong reserve pairing, failing that, one strong reserve (all season) could pay dividends! (having the advantage of taking 7 rides if needed...)

I can't remember the last time I went to a B'ham home match knowing/expecting to win

....isn't nearly every Poole (home) match a banker ? (well...sounds like 'banker' ?)

Are you the new PR for B'ham then ? I would have thought that 'simply' existing is the most positive outcome that B'ham fans could have? It's attracting 'new' fans that's the problem.... The main problem of having a weak team (IMO) is that it's less appealing for a neutral/(or fan from another team) to come to Perry Barr on the odd occasion. From a team perspective...we have got a very solid number 1 and a very solid reserve in Proctor (if he lasts....) I think we'll hold our own at home, which in-turn will encourage the afore mentioned 'neutral/s' to come and see some decent/competitive racing every now and then. After all, who wants to see teams 'slayed' every week? boring!

Newman will move up in to the team and Rowe will drop to reserve at some point. Rowe at reserve will excel....

Not sure you can compare B'ham reaching top 6 this season, when most other teams are different compared to last season ? Your pitching this seasons team selection against 'other' teams last season selection ? (apart from Edinburgh of course....)

Being professional, as opposed to looking professional is more important IMO!

Not sure I see the benefit/point of making Teams all wear the same 'suits' .... good old fashioned 'bibs' are my preferred choice and a great souvenir for the kids (replica's from track shop) etc.... Besides, there's that many guest appearances these days..... Whatever happened to 'individual expression'...the world is full of conform this and conform that..... Sorry...going off on a bit of a tangent here....

What? Poole putting a rider out of work to make the team stronger? C'mon...we all know that Poole will do whatever it takes to give them the best possible chance of 'winning' ! (quite rightly so IMO!)

If and its a big IF...he lasts the season....then he will most likely be the only rider that improves his average (marginally...) Personally, I think it's a replacement for Tate Zische....just my thoughts. I think a Kangeroo should be our new mascot!

Ashley Morris goes well at Redcar (if I remember rightly...) similar average ?
