Totally agree...it's personal choice. This is just my opinion. I got dizzy watching the online meeting. I'm sure it will probably be a 50/50 split on spectator enjoyment etc... It's just not for me!

Just looked...yes, you're right. 49 seconds TR ! good training track for learning to slide/turn the bike.

I managed to watch 4 races....one of the most boring race tracks I've seen....I'm glad I don't have to watch racing here week in week out!

Speedway would be a 'duller' sport without Poole IMO.... Poole set the bar and 'we' (other clubs) have to try and aspire to it.... It's a beautiful part of the country too. I admire their winning mentality.... We all want to beat Poole ...it's healthy competition IMO!

Yes, but there has to come a point where it's about ability and a judgement call will have to be made? (if there are too many eligible lower average riders...) It's not that difficult to spot potential....

Fair point about the 4.0 average....but I think there's enough 2.0 average riders for each team to take one of them in the Championship. I've counted 8 (including Ablitt) 7 of which are signed up.

I think all Championship teams should have included at least one British 2 point average rider. Or at least one British rider under 4 point average. (as a rule)

Its a travesty that Bailey/Kemp/Thompson are not fixed up.

I think Bailey is 4.31 with reduction...B'ham have 4.22 left! It can only be a foreigner with the amount of delay in announcement.

Wasted 4 points on Morris/Pearson combined.....Bowtell is a Championship reserve at best....Wright has probably had his best days...Nielsen is a solid second string and will never be a Heat Leader....Sedgemen is average if he misses the gate..... The highlight of the Season will be to see if Pearson can improve... I for one am glad that there's only 8 Home League meetings with this team. Having said all that...fair play to the promoters for continuing...I really hope I'm wrong and we have a successful season.

I applaud them (Poole) for sticking with him for the whole season....he's not good enough for the Championship, not sure if he has the potential...I haven't seen or know enough about him to make that judgement. Take Pearson from 'B'ham' ? he obviously has got it....hence why B'ham are pursuing with him!

You won the league quite easily with 1 scoring reserve last season....
