Not sure where I've stated anything to do with 'happiness' ? Just merely pointing out what I think is a mistake with team building, after last seasons debacle.

It's a 4 point rider... can't see what any excitement or concern this/that would cause . Morris on a 10 is the damage and fault for the season IMO

I agree, from an adults perspective, yes, they are boring.....but when I was a kid and I hadn't seen a wheel turned since the previous September....I couldn't wait to go...just the noise and the smell would captivate me ! say no more!

A missed opportunity to promote IMO.... And nothing comes from the first 'P' apart from a few poxy photos and 30 seconds local media coverage if you're lucky? The press coverage should be promoting the sport in the area and aimed at 'new' faces, with a sample of the sport F.O.C !

I can never understand why P&P day is during the week (having to book time off work if wanting to attend....plus kids are at school etc)....wouldn't a Saturday/Sunday be more suitable... It's an opportunity to promote the Club etc.....

The longer the final signing drags on, the bigger the anti-climax when it's announced

I had a look in to this and I think he rode for Edinburgh in 2018 ? how time flies.... Won the USA national title as recently as 2021....he's only 25 years old!

After last seasons balls-up with Ellis, anything can happen! I have no expectations and will simply attend as many meetings as possible regardless of who's riding, just to get a speedway fix! You only have to look at what happened with Kennett at Plymouth last season, to realise that there's a lot of 'fixing' in speedway, I'm too long in the tooth to take it seriously as a sport of integrity!

Harris for me and I think Pickering will soon be up there!

Agree about B'ham's poor looking team...but if Bowtell can't compete in the main body of Championship side by now, then I doubt he ever will be able to ?

Personally, I don't think any of the B'ham team will 'up' their starting average....that's just my opinion and not a criticism. More than happy to be proved wrong!

I think it's a short sighted move, especially with the team average being lowered! I think its a deal that suits the rider more than the club. It's done now and all club supporters can do is get on with it.

Had bags of potential and solid backing...but seems to have wasted it? You've either got it, or you haven't and he looks like he hasn't ? One natural quality he did have (from memory) is : He was a very good gater! (something that you can't teach...well, to a point!)

Apologies...I wasn't insinuating that you were being disrespectful...I actually thought that you might be being serious (after all, Tom made an appearance last season v Big Al's Memorial) I think you may be right with 'Gino'? I don't think there can be too much criticism whoever it is....(it's only a reserve...no expectations and all that) The damage is/was done signing Morris on a 10 plus average! IMO
