sticking my two-penneth in on track preferences ? It's all about the prep imo.....(trying to avoid the obvious 'size' puns...) A smooth, safe, grippy (not slick) track provides differing values of entertainment? Seeing someone going flat out, regardless of any passing, is a thrill for me at times!

Allow movement at the start, just like the good old days....adds to the tension and also give a 'lesser' abled rider the chance to make the gate and adds to the excitement when the faster rider has to chase him down.....

Sounds like he didn't have a very good upbringing? (not making excuses for him) Such a waste......he's a very likeable character (in speedway terms) and a terrific entertainer on a bike! Wished that he'd had better guidance in life!
