No I don't... He has said he is taking a year out, He has issues and that he hopes GB do well and hopes to be back in 2018... It now means fans travelling to event 1 or 2 next year know well in advance Tai won't be there, Unlike fans who went to race off this year expecting to see a 3 times world champion who 3 days earlier said he would be there

I agree with you... In official league and cup matches this season where BOTH opposition riders have finished the race Phillips has had ( home) 28 rides and scored 6+2 (Ave 1.14)(only beating Adam Roynon Matt Williamson Jacob Bukhave Lee Payne Josh Bailey and Ben Basford) and away from home he has had 37 rides and scored only 2 points ( ave 0.22) ( beating Nathan Greaves twice at Sheffield ). Needs to be replaced in my opinion as if rose is missing or has an off night we will win nothing

Must of went to a different meeting to me then as I was there and he only scored paid 2

Do football fans complain when teams sign players in January to help them win the league and cup etc?... Don't like to have a go at any rider as I have never rode a bike so every rider will be 100's of times better than me but have to agree with above post... Danny Phillips's last 27 rides for Newcastle consist of 23 last places and 4 third places.. 3 of the 3rd places came when Jonas B Anderson fell Danny Ayres ret and Fernando Garcia fell.. His only genuine 3rd place came last night when he only just and I mean just held off Josh Bailey in heat 4. How many other clubs with title and cup winning aspirations would persevere with a rider in that kind of form

And yet again we have to ride a match without our number one as Belle Vue at Swindon when we due at Sheffield for 2nd leg of quarter final

what would happen if say on a bank holiday Monday, Newcastle were at Scunthorpe at 3pm and Kings Lynn at Poole for a sky match at 7:30.. We had Richie as a guest and at 2:59 Lambert pulls out injured :-)

Just an idea ( and at every Grand Prix) but if after heat 20 if neither reserve have had a ride why not let them have a race against each other before the semi finals .. Be a fantastic experience for them both

How?? You have 29 different British tracks so that's only an average of about 1500 fans from each track if every fan was British .. Obviously that's not the case but you also have riders and ex riders with their wives and girlfriends there.. Track staff, club officials with their families.. Plus also all the fans from poland Sweden Denmark etc
