After the top officials and hierarchy have booked all the cheaper rates at the hotels in Cardiff

With all the fuss over cut off dates here and cut off dates there why not just have this competition where at the end of 24 meetings each a league table appears and whoever finishes top are classed as the league champions 😀

Not bothered who wins league as I follow Poole as always liked Bjarne. I follow Belle Vue as they have Stevie Worrall and Richie Worrall but I think the signing of Lindback is a master stroke as after Nicki he is the rider I love to watch and well done Matt Ford. Can't knock the bloke for knowing the ins and outs and everything else he does whether it's legitimate or not as I had it for years with Ian Thomas and loved it

I was at Plymouth last Friday to watch Plymouth v Newcastle and twice Ellis Perks beat Danny Phillips quite easily

While I am pleased she is looking to be on the mend I don't agree with this doing "exclusives" for newspapers etc. I am probably in minority but hate it when they make money out of being ill and recovering etc ..

To some on here size does matter, infact the size of the crowd is more important than the actual racing to some. Me personally I go to watch the racing and not the crowd though the odd low top on a female might grab my attention... It actually wouldn't bother me if I was the only fan in the stadium as it's the 2 teams that I pay my money to go to see

What difference does it make what size the crowd is ? ... What is this obsession in the Elite League of the size of other clubs crowds... I have been following speedway 37 year now and prob seen over 1500 meetings live and not once have I went to see how big the crowd was.... nor will I have any intention of doing so in the future ... I go to watch 4 riders race and it makes no difference whether it's in front of 10, 100, 1000 or 10,000 I don't go to watch the fans..... Nearly every meeting on sky has someone commenting on here about the size of the crowd!!! Why?? What difference does it make to non fans of that home club?

Yeah that's how bookies work.. If your team had signed the 7 riders Leicester had signed you would in your opinion been the bookies favourites because of Poole's reputation

Hard to believe that it's one year today that Darcy Ward suffered his career ending injury... Even though I am a Newcastle fan Darcy was the one rider ( apart from Nicki ) that would have me watching the television as he was probably the most exciting rider I have seen in over 35 years of watching speedway.. Since his injury he has done remarkable and hopefully will keep on improving ...

I will do it for you .. "I told you Poole would get beat.... Racing was rubbish .. Heat 14 should of been all 4 back... Poole are now outsiders for title....

A liking that could see him ride for Peterborough in the play offs as Redcar'season will be over by then 😉
