A return for Nicki P? Well Bjarne & Crumpy av doubled up in the Premiership & Championship so I wouldn't rule it out. And he nearly rode for Sheffield......so who knows? when things change in Poland it cud happen. If he was keen it wud need sum serious backing on the finance though.

Are you using VHS or Betamax? Yes there's always one smart ass and that's me!

Well I wouldn't want those folk driving a car coz they can't see where they're going!
-
Maybe Bomber shudn't sign for a club but instead become a full time guest rider! He's helped us Pirates out on many an occasion, 2018 comes to mind
-

Me thinks Leicester are tarmacing the track & putting 4 lanes in, plus a hard shoulder on the bends! -
I thought Wollf was a Gladiator & he wore a curly mullet on his head!
-
I'm glad I'm not an Onion tho because I'd keep getting into a pickle! A Turnip just goes round the bend!
-
Just a liddle bit of filming that I did
-
Good to hear from someone who knows their onions
-
Was that the array of bushes that went along the back straight?!
-
I've also posted this under Swindon 2020 in the Premiership section. Filmed today 5th May by Lee Ashby. For me it looks like a stand is being built on the back straight because if the drainage etc was for housing surely u would see the drainage spaced out equally plus individual foundations for each house which there isn't. Please note I'm not a building expert. I'm confident it's a stadium being built tho but can't see it being ready to declare intention to run in 2023? I hope I'm wrong of course. And the dogs are still running there so that should give cause for optimism? I can understand Lee Ashby's concerns though because we all av had them or still av them about wot is actually going on there. I hope the Red Red Robins keep bob bob bobbing along there Would like to hear your thoughts........

Bomber does what Bomber does. Pirates all at sea in that one!

I'm confident it's a stadium but I can't see it being ready to declare intention to run in 2023 but I hope I'm proved wrong of course. 29.04.2022 League: Scunny v Plymouth
lbw replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Have you been to Plymouth to actually see the racing there first hand? I'm not a Plymouth supporter but went there for the very first time on Tues vs Poole. Hardly a 'toy track' when you see the breathtaking racing that it produces even tho it's small. Tracks are not about the size but how they are shaped to produce quality racing. I would say you need bigger balls to ride that track than say a Sheffield. The riders are closer together so if one rider comes off it's likely more will follow like dominoes. Toy track, nonsense! -
The old saying........Doesn't matter wot size it is it's wot u do with it that counts!......kinda comes to mind. So whether a track is big or small it's the shape of it that determines the quality of racing. Went to Plymouth, the smallest track, on Tuesday for the very first time and I was well impressed with the breathtaking racing on show. It's nonsense to say the Premiership should only be for tracks (Daniel Smith) that allow the riders to be throttle jockeys coz that can also be boring if the track isn't shaped correctly. At both ends of the scale Plymouth & Belle Vue av got their tracks on the money

I had a Little Henry but had to keep swapping it for a Dyson. Eventually the Little Henry quit on me coz it didn't want to 'suck up' anymore!
