  1. SO ANYTHING YOU COMMENT ON SPEEDWAY OR OTHERWISE U KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT??? I THINK NOT! WOT AN UTTER BERK! NO ONE KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT WOT THEY COMMENT ON OTHERWISE THEY WOULD AV THE BRAIN OF THE WORLD! WOT WOT WOT WOT! WOT A LOAD OF NONSENSE U SPEAK, AND I KNOW ABOUT NONSENSE COZ I'M EDUCATED IN IT !
  2. WIN WITH A WORRALL Well done Stevie 13+2(5) paid max
  3. As I've said before......All tracks should be thoroughly inspected by appointed officials before each season starts to make sure they are fit for purpose from a health & safety point of view. If a track needs work to be carried out this must be completed & passed before the club(s) are allowed to start racing in a league under the BSPA. I don't know wot checks are made by referees etc at the moment when it comes to the track but they are blatantly not enough.
  4. Turnip not be up in Redcar this time, shame coz it's cracking liddle venue with a good track. I'm always up for a Pirates win & me thinkin it will be hard fought with us edging it 47-43. I was at Leicester when they annihilatied Redcar the other week, Bears were woeful ! C'MON THE PIRATES
  5. Thank you for someone clarifying my thoughts about Lawson. Cheers
  6. Maybe Lawson still suffering from his knee injury so didn't push things when behind as the win wasn't in doubt ?
  7. Well done Pirates on the 58-32 Win Stevie, job's a good un Wot happened with Lawson? Couple of below par rides. Drew looking good judging by his score & Nathan doing his job All round solid job. Sorted.
  8. Aces are gonna win the Premiership this season! This Turnip knowz his onions!
  9. Rules? Wot are rules? When we av the Ford's who needs rules?
  10. Can't they make the graphics bigger? And sorry Sam, me thinks he's never been up to the TV stuff as the nerves always show. Simon Stead, Olly Allen would be good alternatives. Josh Pickering is a natural & Jason Crump .
  11. Hope the weather is better down there than up ere in Derbyshire.......Rain is all around me everywhere I go......Wet Wet Wet ! Hope u don't end up in Wethers-poons!
  12. Being a Pirate I could cut a deal for the Diamonds on sum Polyfilla to use on that rut/hole in the base of the track!
  13. Bit of a catch 22, either earlier decision coz of the distance for Newcastle or later decision due to the forecast. Either way let's hope it's all systems go for a Pirates Win
  14. No pressure at all. We did the Double last year in the same position. This year we will do the Treble plus the Riders' Championship coz we are the Pirates, simples.
  15. To the Dad's Army tune.... Who do you think you are kidding Mr Lyon if you think you gonna win the league again?!
  16. Funny enough the surgeon said that to my doctor when I went in for brain surgery!
  17. Health & Safety........just a thought Before tracks are allowed to start each season the base of the track should be inspected by an appropriate licensed official. Just like a car having a mot. And like a mot, any necessary work to be carried out before it is issued a certificate to show it is fit for purpose. This will come at a cost but doesn't everything involved with health and safety e.g. air fences. I don't know wot inspections are actually made with the track other than it's surface before a meeting starts. Maybe they need to use Tatum's dirtometer and a scanner that archeologist's use!
  18. Whilst I try to appreciate the hours put in behind the scenes to get meetings on whether that be the track work, medical cover, programmes, getting volunteers in, getting the paperwork done, getting guests etc etc etc........ At the end of the day if the show isn't right on the night for those that pay to watch, especially new or floating supporters, they are less likely to return again. I say this about any entertainment venue, you can't expect people to understand wot goes on behind the scenes too try to get things right, after all they don't pay for that!!! They only pay for things to be right on the night. I speak from experience of helping to organise speedway social evenings. Simples
