  1. May be Jim Lawrence should get off his backside and get up there to check it then. Rider safety is paramount. Maybe they could ask NORA92 to offer some expertise.
  2. I know there is a lot of banter with Poole and sometimes it goes too far but this is genuinely sad news. Jack is a great kid, potentially a very good rider who has had no luck at all with injuries. Wish him and Poole all the best.
  3. Rumour had it that Poole had spoken to him about a short term deal as Lawson has a bad case of dandruff and might not be able to get an helmet on for a month. If Poole can't get RR they'll use Kennett.
  4. Every action has a reaction and an end aim. IMHO this is step 1 on the road to the PL breaking away from BSPL (but still aligning to SCB and therefore ACU) to create a separate entity to optimise TV money and Commercial opportunities and to do effectively what PL has done in soccer, and in similar way to the way Cricket is also redefining on Franchise type basis. I think they will want an 8 Team League (more riders coming in from Poland will help that) and possibly ultimately 9 or 10. Poole and Glasgow are the obvious targets.
  5. With Shovlar busted (literally) and Skidder a busted flush (metaphorically) your the only Poole Forum Heat Leader who doesn't look way past their best Lisa. A few inconsistent second strings but you'll certainly need some new young blood for the coming Forum season. Forget any Aussies they just moan and whine.
  6. Given your concern Lewy I just called Danny Ford. He confirmed he's been a touch constipated but Skidder should be back on top form soon.
  7. Well done to Scunthorpe "all supporters welcome" A big contrast from one money grabbing Club who clearly dont give a fig about their supporters by insisting you have to have a season ticket to attend P+P and who then mercilessly plug them!
  8. When did Keleher ride for Plymouth last season. Certainly got that wrong...
  9. If the Visa is down to Suella and the Home Office he probably got it same day. After all the Government and its Ministers are awash with millions of Russian State sponsored money, gifts and hand outs. Emil will have no problem getting accommodation in London, Putin owns most of it. No doubt Boris and his mate Lebedev (the rich Lord not the speedway rider) will pop along to Fixhall to support him, on his way to Kyiv ready to turn his face the other way. Oh The irony, the hypocracy of the world we live in. Emil is a gifted speedway rider, let him entertain us, give those who govern us, those 2 faced parasites the grief instead. Emil is a mere pawn... Ipswich have done no wrong either.
  10. Surely Gino or Tobias T with Gino strong favourite. Might be a Brit but hard to see who to use up most of the points. Unless they get averages down quickly early season to get a Kemp type option by June.
  11. With most CL matches now on Wednesday and Friday and only Berwick on a Saturday now and so many young Brits in Poland on a Tuesday, I wonder if Plymouth might consider a switch to Saturdays. With compacted League season they could avoid clashing with Plymouth football most of the season or dovetail with it on occasions. Could be far more enticing for kids and families and day trippers on a Saturday too.
  12. Who rides in Oz regional championships. Can't get more "Antipodean" than that lol. Well certainly by dictionary description. Looks like a very shrewd signing to me.
  13. Kemp won't fit average wise his temprement has done for him. Plymouth will be going Antipodean....no doubt! a 4 pointer!
  14. Like the Tory backbencher who stands up and reads the script he's been given. Skidder Dannys Boy
  15. Yes...my daughter has already purchased for family. Can't wait for the season to start now.
  16. Some Brummies PR suggested announcement might be this week, wonder if in The Speedway Star tomorrow? Manzaries to Brummies I believe. Heard rumour Plymouth after an Antipodeon. Would imagine both Clubs waiting on Home Office only logical reason for delay.
  17. Andy Smith might be a good match up v Oxford's reserves. Assuming he's not taken on a Barman job at Poole on the same night.
  18. Typical Poole bully boys. Sooo predictable.
  19. Skidder confused It must be so murky up there... A very appropriate name.
  20. Isn't Tom Brennan a Swindon lad who has a few matches for them in 2018 b4 the Rising Star scheme came in?
  21. It's entirely feasible that IOW, Kent and Plymouth could run NORA92 without a single contracted SCB ACU 2023 licensed rider or SCB accredited Official or SCB accredited Track staff present Enough non contracted riders about, Martin and Barry are Renting Stadia so no need for Kent or Plymouth Promoters to be there, and NORA92 could provide accredited local Marshalls or accredited staff at Kent and Plymouth currently in non authorised SCB roles could at step up. How daft would SCB and BSPL look then?
  22. This is clearly written by someone who has either not read the Speedway Star article, or who wishes to muddy the waters, is intellectually challenged or by a Management Committee Member or by all 4 Hello Danny.
