  1. Would have Nick Morris in for Dan Thompson. Other than that I agree
  2. To be fair to Anders. He was probably expecting to be at 3 for the season. But Kerr and Zach both had poor starts. Rowe did a better job at 5 than either of them. He put over a point on his average i think? Which is what you want from your riders. Inconsistent, yes. But often competitive out the gate and had some great races at Wimborune RD this season.
  3. Tough to know what’s a championship winning team till all teams are named. And even then you can’t be sure. No one thought that Pavolaa would be scoring 18+ points for the first section of the season last year. Rushen and Cairns you’d say would have the beating of most reserves next year, but then we don’t know who’s got who at reserve next season. Lawson Rowe Zach would match any other teams 1/3/5, Beau is an unknown quality, Zischke hit the ground running in his first year. Would be surprised if Beau averaged less than Toby once he gets settled in, but the 2 position is one of the hardest
  4. Are we still going on about the track? After 15 races at pooles track. And 16 races at Glasgows track, can we not agree that the team that won deserved to win? Poole prepared their track to help them win. Glasgow prepared their track to try and help them win.
  5. Was just banned for a year, rode for Scunthorpe this year. Would be on a sub 7 average so good chance he could up that.
  6. I was basing it being a 40 points limit, which it of course might be lower, a lower limit may suit Poole if they have got Cooper
  7. So, Lawson Beau Zach Bowes Rowe Cairns Rushen? or Toby and Kerr if Zach doesn’t fancy Championship and Beau isn’t in his way?
  8. If Zach does decide to drop the championship. Maybe we could temp Jonas Jeppersen to Dorset? Good guesting for us against Glasgow. Would leave little over 5 points left to get the last rider should ride in the 4 position. or beef up the 3 and 4 position with Kerr and then Edwards or Allen? lots of options if Zach isn’t returning, hopefully he does. I struggle to see us keeping Zach and Kerr with the other 4 riders who are very much expected unless it’s Ritchings at reserve and Cairns at 2
  9. Shame if true, his 7.34 avg would only go up. But the time might be right for him to take a plunge into Poland and Sweden whilst doing the premiership. would open the door to a big signing
  10. Riders that would fit in to that last spot. Joe Thompson Tate Zischke Fraiser Bowes Tobias Thompson Zane Kennedy Jye Etheridge Lasse Fredriksen Francis Gusts Mitch Mcdirmid Luke Killeen A new 5 point rider personally id be looking at Tate, Gusts, McDirmid from that list.
  11. Would be happy with them 6, if we could Pry Zischke away from Workington that would be great! Shame Lewi doesn’t fit, Toby does but that would leave us a point under the limit.
  12. Yeah for me, Ace should’ve been excluded with the Toby incident. I just about agree with the Howarth Toby one as I think Toby could’ve done more to stay on. with the Zach Howarth one I think it was past tough racing, and there was cause for Howarth to go. Left Zach with no chance and how Zach stayed on I no idea. do you have to jump off the bike for their to be an exclusion? I think in cases like the Howarth Zach one, common sense could be used?
  13. Yeah I would certainly have, Zischke, MMD, gusts and even Dan Gilkes ahead of him. Dan Gilkes probably Oxford bound, if he’s recovered well from his nasty injury he’s a steal on his 4.58 AVG Ofcourse with Poole having nearly 6 points left it does leave the door open to seek a 5 point rider like Glasgow did. A rider like Nagel this year do tend to prefer the mid season switch rather than commit from the start. If you sign the right 5 point rider like Nagel, Basso and Pavolaa? They can make a mockery of that prior avg
  14. I know Bowes had the falling out towards the end of the season, is that your reason for not wanting him here? Put in some fast performances at Poole, don’t get me wrong I’d prefer Zischke over him but I’m sure Worky will be desperate to keep him. Shame that it’s highly unlikely Kerr will stay due to the limit because I like the look of him on his average. Lawson Bailey Rowe Zischke Cook Cairns Rushen would be my 7 of choice. starke not done enough to be back IMO. Toby and Kerr victims of the numbers games
  15. Bomber had flew past both pirates just 2 laps prior so not sure it was a the tracks fault. Harris cut back into turn one and was blocked by Howarth, a lap later Lawson slammed the door shut on Harris and then that was that. Probably 5 races giving it 110% zapped his energy and he didn’t have it in him to go till the flag in the super heat
  16. Would’ve preferred for them to just show the celebrations, couldn’t believe when they were interviewing Harris, it was geared up all evening for Glasgow tonight dethrone the pirates. It did feel like Poole vs the world this last week. And the Pirates won
  17. The pirates will be greeted like the champions they are on Wednesday. Lawson and Zach sensational. Kerr with a great night aswell(other than bend 1 on his first race) shame they can’t celebrate it too hard tonight, but hopefully get the needed result tomorrow and then bring home the treble….. again
  18. All that crying from Glasgow fans. Haven’t seen an overtake after bend 3. Can’t see Glasgow throwing this away. Harris unbeatable
  19. I disagree, one of the best ran clubs in the UK and certainly the most successful and well supported one will NOT be the reason speedway dies in this country.
  20. A lot of GPs are gate and go, and the all the riders turn up and just have to get on and deal with it.
  21. Honestly is laughable some of the comments on here, complaining about the track. The home team can do whatever they want. Embarrassing to complain about it. 12 points will be close, I’m not confident in holding on but it’s certainly possible. Fantastic Heat 15 from Richard and Zach.
  22. Both upgrades on Hodder, but I’m sure he won’t want to miss out on the grand final
  23. Both upgrades on Hodder, but I’m sure he won’t want to miss out on the grand final
  24. More importantly hope everyone involved in the incident are ok and it’s nothing serious
