  1. Nicholls is a temporary signing... plymouth need guests. Whether it's an ndl rider or a rider at 75% who knows
  2. Michael hartel (complete guess, I've got a 0.1% chance of looking smart)
  3. I'm sure Steve Worrall, as a speedway rider, would be highly offended to be tarred under the same brush as any of the alleged above. Considering last season when his testimonial meeting was cancelled he collected together all the food he had arranged and donated it to the local homeless shelter. There are many, many wonderful speedway riders out there and I'd love to invite anyone below with similar stories. Let's change the next few pages into something positive and not rats who mug grannies and get a few years with a free bed and breakfast paid by the tax payers, eh? I'd love to know who the nice lads of speedway are.
  4. You've just narrowed it down to not plenty of riders there none worthwhile anyway. Need a thrid heatleader
  5. Not even his 'mistake' he's just a little rat and he needs to stay the hell away from the sport... Would other riders really feel safe on the track with him...
  6. I am a massive fan of Plymouth... But if Garrity did go anywhere near this team (or any other) then I'd refuse to visit ever again, and I assume I wouldn't be the only one... I guess the posts above are false though (or so I hope)
  7. Nowhere near a third heat leader and I thought he'd retired...?
  8. Especially with Niels and Emil. Both already talk quietly.
  9. Knew he was in Poland but don't really follow Sweden or Denmark. Good for him, he's much better in higher leagues.
  10. As much as Bellego didn't do well for Sheffield last year, surely he's too good for the championship? He's a class rider, especially on a big track... If Workington could pull that off it would be incredible
  11. It's not a complaint. Every sport needs characters like his... I'm just not a fan of characters like his... He's not taking this press conference seriously at all (the video where they're all stood in a line on the back row of the stand, he's the only one who didn't look at the camera, he decided it was more important to be talking to the rider next to him instead) it makes all the hard work that everyone put into this event look worse off and it's a little disrespectful honestly... Haven't liked him for years, his attitude stinks and everyone loves to blow smoke up his arse which makes it worse!!
  12. I can't wait. Most exciting part of the off season. Watching who's winding who up
  13. Kenneth Hansen, Anders Rowe and Josh Auty?
  14. If there's not even an announcement made on Saturday, what direction are you going to take your trolling in next? It's interesting
  15. I thought it was a bit strange when I first heard that Doyley wasn't going to be there. I'm not a huge fan of him but have a massive amount of respect for him. He always shows up and gives his all and has always stuck by speedway in this country. His wife going into labour is a perfectly reasonable reason not to be there however, and I would like to congratulate him and his wife Tai Woffinden's comment of the rest of the league looks like they're gonna go have fun but no one is better than Sheffield so they're gonna win it again... Wow right in front of everyone. He's not got much respect has he. Hopefully every single number 1 and 5 in the league comes and batters him every week.....
  16. I must have missed this thread for 2023!! I remember doing quite well in 22
  17. I have no issues with the Ben Fund meetings being postponed, I had no plans to go to the Ben fund, it's still hockey season and that takes priority for me. But the meeting on 31st, I was 100% going to attend. It's the delay in announcing the last rider that's getting boring now. I'm not even a Workington fan and the radio silence is deafening. I don't care if 16 amateurs race or 16 of the worlds best race, if the racing is close then it's a good night out. If it's Freddie Lindgren vs wobbler 2 and wobbler 3 I'm not interested. If I wanted to watch riders riding alone I'd go to a practice session. Bicker about important stuff, but when it gets personal and people are bickering about quite literally nothing, or getting at eachother's throats, it turns the whole forum into a sack of rubbishe, which is a shame because it's the best place to get news in speedway... I hope Northside is as good as people make it out to be. I'm sure I'll be along at some point during the season when I find my interest again. Few meetings at Redcar, the best track in the country, should do it...
  18. Well I was really excited to head to Workington for the first time within the next few weeks, but I've lost all enthusiasm now. Delay after delay after delay and now just constant bickering on here... Whatever.
  19. Think this is one of the best Berwick teams in years and should, if all goes well, be nearer to the top of the league... However I just can't see anyone getting near Poole (Possibly Redcar but they look weaker with Knudsen instead of Jorgensen?). Poole's top 4 just look ridiculous and I think Hagon will do well at reserve. Don't think Tobias will be as bad as some think, but I don't think he will be spectacular either. Poole and Berwick top 2? Possibility.
  20. Depends on how much said promoter takes the piss... everyone has a value and it should be acknowledged. And if the promoter is going to hand out below value offers he's just going to get rejection after rejection... not saying this is robs philosophy as I have no idea what goes on in the background but...
  21. I've not got a problem with WHO was announced. Give the young, returning lad a chance. I'm just surprised it took them months to announce the final rider when he was one of the more obvious choices... its not like they'd have to negotiate a difficult deal... This league is all about development and I don't see it as any other.
  22. That was 17 years ago... the rulebook has probably changed 300 times since then... Smetana signed for Poole one season but never actually rode as he couldn't get a visa. I believe the op has mixed up Skorja and Smetana. I was really looking forward to watching both ride for the Diamonds in 2020. It's a shame they, or anyone else, never will again.
  23. There's two types of rumours though... ones that have some truth and ones that are a load of horse sh!te... I could name a rider now and claim to have seen him at Manchester Airport etc and the rumour would begin... doesn't mean its true. Although, I did see Kenneth Hansen's van heading across the a66 last weekend
