Ive always though any team who could get Basso and pickering in the same team have got to be the most entertaining team in the league, regardless of who else is signed. Howarth would be my shout if I was a Glasgow fan, him and Basso would be a brilliant 1 and 5.
-
Cheers, I hadn't seen that then again I've not really been paying much attention. Who do you reckon the last 2 may be

Brilliant start to team building. I hope Nathan and Jonas (or potentially brother Jesper) are the reserves... I imagine Jorgensens average will be whatever his PL average converted by 1.5, which I think would put him somewhere in the 9s would it not?? Definitely no Bomber if that's the case...

I think the original poster meant to have an 'if' at the beginning of their post

1 Sam Masters 10.58 2 Lasse Frederiksen 4.00 3 Kye Thomson 6.60 4 Max Clegg 4.27 5 Craig Cook 8.24 6 Jacob Hook 4.00 7 2 pointer 2.00 It feels a shame to leave out Paco but he's hard to fit in with the 3 heat leaders. Unless you give up on either Jacob or Lasse and go... 1 Sam Masters 10.58 2 Jacob Hook 4.00 3 Kye Thomson 6.60 4 Paco Castagna 4.93 5 Craig Cook 8.24 6 James Sarjeant 3.59 7 2 pointer 2.00 I've also heard that Pickering won't be back which will be a shame, he's one of my favourites and I have a soft spot for Edinburgh I suppose the 2 pointer could be someone like Tom Woolley, Danny Phillips, Connor Coles, Ryan Kinsley?? Any other suggestions?

Think the phrase everyone is looking for is 'trade value' having a prospects contract will very more valuable than an older rider who will be retired soon anyway. The prospect is only going to increase in value and the older only gonna go the other way. That's what happens in sports like ice hockey anyway... -
That team would be the strongest team to ride the PL for many years imo, if yous could pull that off yous would be unstoppable and I'd definitely be in for a trip to Suffolk few times next season... But it won't happen surely...?
-
Tbh I don't understand all the hate for Lambert, yeah he's never going to be a world beater and he's not the greatest rider ever to grace the sport, but I'd happily have him in my team as a number 2, always a trier and a solid, experienced rider, particularly at scunthorpe and other similarly sized tracks. I quite liked him at Newcastle even though it didn't really work out for him. He's nowhere near one of my top choices don't get me wrong, but he's not so bad that you'd have to be daft to sign him surely?? And although I don't really know him personally he seems like a really chilled nice guy

Would love to vote on that myself, where is it?

Adam Roynon Kyle Bickley Archie Freeman George Rothery Paul Bowen Lots of cool local options available, can't wait to visit next year whether it's NDL or just amateur

The problem is finding someone or somewhere trustworthy to put your money, people aren't going to invest say £20 a month for 4 years for the chance of the team returning, whatever happened to the Yorskshire Dukes I put £500 towards many many years ago... they never materialised did they? Who got my money I wonder...?
-
You'd have to sacrifice at least Lawson or King to get Holder in the team, I just don't see that happening/don't think it's worth it?? Lawson and King are just as good at this level as Holder would be imo...
-
Wouldn't Bailey be eligible for a 25% reduction though? Bringing the limit below 42.50
-
Thanks for the info, will be interesting to see how the teams are built then
-
1. Dan Bewley 2. Norick Blodorn 3. Matej Zagar 4. Jaimon Lidsey 5. Brady Kurtz 6. Tom Brennan 7. Connor Bailey Does this team fit then? I can't see a team without Charles Wright, but I just can't see how he's going to fit with all the other rumoured/expected riders, unless the limit is much higher??
-
Why does Brennan get a 25% reduction? I must have missed whatever this ruling is? Also Lidsey should come in on his old average of course, Matej did this year and many others have in previous years... It's not like he's a world beating GP rider, probably worth a good 6.5-7.0 though if he does return, is this likely to happen?
-
You weren't saying that in 2012 when the Diamonds won the league but you won the little knockout competition at the end, Scorpions league champions apparently??
-
Club's now officially been more advertised now it doesn't exist than it did for the whole Grant era and nearly the English era combined, thanks random van man in Cumbria

Is there not a cut off date in the rule book as well? Of course they do, they get the biggest prize of all... Their fans get to gloat on this meaningless forum for the rest of the year... What could be better than that... For the resident trolls anyway
