  1. Always put out decent sides, on paper anyway. Can't imagine Nathan Ablitt will be back and Jake Mulford signing for Redcar on a Friday means he won't be back either I'm guessing? I say them two out, and Bailey and a 2.00er in. Keep the rest the same. 1. Jack Smith 2. Sam McGurk 3. Harry McGurk 4. Archie Freeman 5. Connor Bailey 6. Freddie Hodder 7. Jack Shimelt?? Luke Harrison?? I'm pretty sure this just fits although I don't have the averages on my phone (bored at work on my break )
  2. How can something be theoretically so simple yet so over complicated by those in charge...
  3. Could Kasper Andersen have decided to ride this season? Been a couple of u turns elsewhere (Riss being one of them)
  4. So it's looking to be 1. Sam Masters 2. Steve Worrall 3. Rory Schlein 4. Ryan Douglas 5. Luke Becker 6. Ben Cook/Justin Sedgmen 7. Leon Flint Somehow seems weaker than last year even though its just Schlein for Morris... like for like and an upgrade on Drew
  5. I would love to see Hume and ruml I'm guessing the rumoured top 3 are Charles Wright, Danny King and who?? Jason Edwards and a 2 pointer Is that the team? In theory anyway
  6. What will Rory's average be? I've seen 6.65 mentioned on here but his last official average I can find from the end of the 2021 season is 7.14?? 6.65 was his start of 2021 average was it not?
  7. 8.62 I calculate it 4.43 - 2.5% = 4.31 4.31 * 2 = 8.62 Bargain average if someone like Belle Vue persuade him to join
  8. Keynan Rew is an absolute bargain on 4.00... witches fans should be VERY happy with that signing... Seen him before both in Poland and Denmark and he's a very fast and stylish rider. Should put Batch at reserve pretty early into the season if both riders continue to progress, regress how they have the last few years Just want to add that riding with Doyley will presumably do Keynan the world of good considering they rode in Poland together and in the Aussie national team together, wonder if Jason had any sway in the signing?
  9. Yes but no, but also yes and a maybe... quite possibly, more than likely a yes ...but who knows?
  10. Double his CL average from last year I think (after 2.5% taken off)
  11. If it's Connor Bailey I'm never coming on this forum ever again... The Glasgow and Poole fans will not stop talking about it for at least 3 months if that happens
  12. Tbf everyone said that about Bradley Wilson Dean but how did that tur... Oh wait... Honestly don't think Schlein is that bad... But at the sacrifice of having reserves so weak, no thanks...
  13. Seems your owners have allthegearbutnaeidea... Such a great set up there, but every year trash teams...
  14. All riders I've heard of, but interesting to get the point of view from someone who a lot more involved in youth racing than me, who the up and comers are. William Cairns is going to be one hell of a rider if he continues to progress, absolutely flies around scunthorpe and he's what, 13? 14?. But please for the love of God someone teach him how to queue
  15. Personally not a fan of race suits and especially not a fan of bike covers... however it's nice to see the club moving forward, being able to spend a bit more I presume that means no begging bowl next year then, if they can afford race suits. Well done scunthorpe
  16. Id love to see a big individual meeting to start, with ex comets and Cumbria locals Cookie being the big name, Kyle Bickley etc... I'd support such meeting and would attend also if its on a saturday
  17. Tbh focusing on one category for the full year sounds like it makes the most sense. Start the 2024 from the beginning having a 3.00 average, not be frozen out on a high average because of half a year the season before. Who else is there to look out for in the junior categories? Who do you recommend.
  18. It's so hard to find info on these riders, there used to be a young lions website, but such a thing doesn't exist anymore as far as I can tell. Ashton may be a mid season acquisition for someone then perhaps...
  19. Just starting a thread so that people can highlight and discuss the riders they'd like to see in the NL next season. Most notably the riders who are 'coming of age' Who are they? As far as I can tell Max James and Luke Harrison will be old enough, I'm guessing Max James to Leicester and Luke Harrison to Berwick or Oxford perhaps? Great to see so many young talents coming through. Are the likes of Ashton Vale and the other Junior competition stars old enough for next season too? Nearly forgot to mention Ashton Boughen (Sp?) What a rider this lad looks like he's going to be
  20. Not their fans though unfortunately I actually have a soft spot for poole, the 3 times I've been the racing and atmosphere was brilliant and the town is nice too.
  21. Maybe the scb just don't like us North Eastern folk Nah I've been able to get on sometimes and not others, definitely something wrong with the site, works sometimes but not always. Not the end of the world anyway, it's only the main and basically only news source for the sport in this country
