Even with Complin, I didn’t think this was a top four team. I’m not mad about it, they got who they wanted (so they said), but they miscalculated in their assessments of some of the riders they brought in.

I saw Connor Mountain is booked for Plymouth at Berwick. -
So if that happens, how do you unsuspend your account?

I’m sure he doesn’t sign anyone without the bill payer’s permission. -

I don't think it was really our choice, but great to see him pressing on this season nevertheless. We always knew he had more talent, he just needed to unlock it. -

Referee is not allowed to use that footage. I think you can only review footage from Eurosport and BSN. -

As frustrating as it was to have the wrong result, amending results later is a can of worms best avoided. If you think speedway looks amateur now, introduce that and it'll be an order of magnitude worse.

I'm falling off my chair at these wild accusations!

I've no knowledge of what Lee may or may not have taken, or eden what he says, so this isn't any comment on that, but Night Nurse contains Promethazine, which causes drowsiness. It's that kind of thing that can make medicines a minefield, because clearly anything that could have that kind of effect would be a potential concern. We should find out more details tomorrow. RE: timing, it's possible Lee was offered an earlier date, but I don't know. You would think he would have been offered a hearing within the initial 30 day window, but speedway isn't always straightforward!

Well, we'd need to win the Super Heat, which I guess is technically a draw, but it kinda feels like a win/loss scenario! -

Starke will only be at reserve of Lee is back (or Ace is dropped, I guess). A lot riding on next Wednesday's hearing. Hard to be sure about anything until we've had that. -

Fantastic meeting, Comets worthy of the win. Craig looked brilliant, as did Tate and Batch. Bomber was fast, but didn't gate well, and the home riders weren't getting caught. He seemed quite frustrated after his third ride. We've seen some fantastic racing over the last couple of days. We're not retaining the league title, but we're having fun losing it. -
Ah, good point. That scenario could still happen though, big each team had one bonus point. The Super Heat would then decide the table, even though one team wasn’t involved (because they won on a night rather than drew!). Three points for a win and the issue goes away though.
-
I think the issue is that an extra point is awarded that otherwise wouldn't be. My suggestion to fix this for next year would be to give 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 1 for a Super Heat, so in all scenarios, three points would be awarded. Effectively, the super heat last night eliminated Berwick, which doesn't seem totally fair.

He was coming from gate 4, which was never going to work for him. Why we insist on taking 1&3 rather than either 2&4, or better, heat 15 (as the visitors would almost always choose 1&3) is beyond me. It cost us in heat 13 where we needed it, and why Bomber went off the inside in 15 is a mystery. When Worrall went off 2 in the Super Heat, he won it. And don't get me started on the transponders. Fair enough, the ref has to accept what they say, but they're wrong too often. Everyone knew Bomber got third, Gerry even got the drone operator to rewind the footage. Thankfully, it doesn't matter for the BSN Series... We needed to win at Armadale either way, which seems unlikely. Starke has been shocking, this isn't a playoff team. Workington will spank us, I think. Fun meeting though! -

I never really understood us signing Starke, but he's been worse than even I imagined. His rolling average has dropped to 3.35. -

It's the easy option for the ref though.
