  1. Possible, or maybe as they won the Pairs last week. Or maybe they were just more up for it.
  2. Oh, we will have fun. I wanted Redcar and Oxford. Proper racers and two highly entertaining home legs, we hope.
  3. If I’d known, I might have made the trip for this, as I’ve not made it to Berwick this season. But if they can’t be bothered, I can’t either.
  4. BSN will show each team equally if they can. It doesn't serve them to be seen to show favouritism to any team, regardless of reasoning.
  5. Didn't look like it was on its arse in Glasgow tonight. I think anyone who came, whoever they support, was thoroughly entertained and I can't think anyone regretted spending their money at Ashfield tonight. It did go on a bit, but it didn't seem like many cared given what they saw.
  6. I’m hearing Leicester might have time to hold the home leg this year
  7. I don't think there were any Fridays both Oxford and Glasgow had free, or that weren't affected by riders appearing somewhere else. Understandable for both teams to want to be full strength. I think there was one week the teams could do but there were already other events on and it was asking too much of the track staff. That's the other thing we often overlook - some people take time off work to volunteer in order for us to get our fix. They give up a lot, but they still need to earn their living.
  8. I would put Brennan at 2, Tarasenko at 5, and keep Claus and Ben together.
  9. That's why he wasn't there, we had him getting it ready
  10. Fantastic win, well deserved. Beat Poole, Oxford and Redcar five times from five heats. Redcar well worthy of second, Lewis Kerr was brilliant most of the night for Oxford too. Batch needs dispatched.
  11. The thing is, you don’t win anything with racers.
  12. BSN have had a bit of a mare with these averages.
  13. OK, I’ll put it another way. Get rid of the leagues tomorrow and the sport dies tomorrow - not in five years.
  14. How many times do we have to say it, Glasgow don't live stream!
  15. I wouldn’t write Craig off so fast. He’s got the fifth highest average in the Championship this season so he’s still got it, he’s just increasingly erratic. But when he’s on it, he’s just as good as he was a few years ago. It was a similar story last season, though not as extreme as this season.
  16. Nevertheless, isn't it silly to have this and the Championship Pairs in the same week as the original cut off date for team fixtures? That's piss poor planning from the league.
  17. It's basically a way of postponing disappointment beyond July, which is more what your used to.
