I think Danyon Hume fits better average-wise, especially as I don't see us running a 2 or 3-pointer at reserve. I think Ace and Lee both come back.

I think your average is valid for three years. Check the averages section of the regs… think I saw something implied there when I was reading earlier.

I've heard a lot of people say Monday/midweek is very bad for them. It doesn't make much difference to me, but it does seem to be a big deal to a lot of people. I also have the issue with liking posts. It doesn't seem to work on Android, but is fine on my iPad. No idea why. It's been that way for a few weeks.

One of the things he said on the podcast is that if they went up, they could bring in riders like Tai Woffinden, but it wouldn't necessarily bring in more fans, because people don't know who he is. Only speedway fans know who he is, and most of them already come. But they are working on the training track over the winter, so they're continuing to develop the facilities, and I like their commitment to sensible and sustainable over the lure of a league that carries a lot of risk and not a lot of upside right now.

Peter Facenna was on the No Brakes No Fear podcast this week (with Bomber and Lee), and he confirmed the club is looking to stay in the Championship. They want to retain the Friday race night because it works well, and they're not convinced it would work commercially to go up to the Premiership. I’ve heard his average will be something like 8.60. I don’t remember the details of how or why, but I’ve been told he won’t be on a 5.

Given this is the Championship forum, I'll assume that league. Plus, I still don't think we will go up. I'd take: Bomber, Claus, Lee, Ace, Danyon. I think Ace is a given. Lee's been much better with better equipment. Bomber will be in demand but I hope he chooses to stay. Claus still has a great average. Danyon has a good average and was great away from home for us last year. Not sure what that comes to and what's left.

That's not the rule. They are eligible to take a ride. It's not a requirement. If they so choose, one reserve can take all four (although you'd then need a reserve switch in one of their own).

They don't have to take a ride. The rule is you must take three rides. R/R can be dished out however you like, within the 7 ride constraint, and the 1-ride constraint for eligible reserves. There is no 4-ride minimum.
