  1. We won by 12 last week, and there were a couple of decisions that made it look like we didn’t really care about the result past a win on the night. The tie is definitely well-poised, but it’s very winnable.
  2. I think this is the balanced opinion. I would have been more hardline in 2022 but realistically people like Laguta, Emil and Tarasenko have said what they can. I’m sure Poland isn’t in the business of handing out passports Willy-nilly right now either.
  3. No-one wanted shot of Marcin, apart from perhaps rabbitman. Marcin chose to leave, possibly under a some pressure from his Polish club, but most definitely not because we wanted him gone. We were very happy with him. He was the best #2 in the league.
  4. I believe it’s one team per mini-league.
  5. In different mini leagues, yes, I think they can.
  6. Because everyone agreed that would be the rule. Therefore, they agreed that was the correct rule. Fine to change it by agreement, and it makes a lot of sense, but they decided that's how it would be.
  7. I'm just amazed you've managed to post so much so quickly since you joined. My first two comments took two months to get approved
  8. From a riders' point of view, it gives riders outside the playoffs a better chance of a payday.
  9. I hope not, because I want to go to that! And I suspect there’s a decent number who would like to support Connor in it too.
  10. Nothing like that many, sadly. I've heard one person say 1,000. There are no official figures though.
  11. I understood you. Yes, I think Cami probably wanted the others to have the same number of rides. Also, Ben didn't score well in his first two rides, so it gave him the chance to earn a bit more rent money.
  12. Glasgow will face both Oxford and Redcar home and away. Not sure about Friday. Rider logistics are complicated, and only one of Glasgow and Redcar can be at home next Friday.
  13. Possible, or maybe as they won the Pairs last week. Or maybe they were just more up for it.
  14. Oh, we will have fun. I wanted Redcar and Oxford. Proper racers and two highly entertaining home legs, we hope.
  15. If I’d known, I might have made the trip for this, as I’ve not made it to Berwick this season. But if they can’t be bothered, I can’t either.
  16. BSN will show each team equally if they can. It doesn't serve them to be seen to show favouritism to any team, regardless of reasoning.
  17. Didn't look like it was on its arse in Glasgow tonight. I think anyone who came, whoever they support, was thoroughly entertained and I can't think anyone regretted spending their money at Ashfield tonight. It did go on a bit, but it didn't seem like many cared given what they saw.
  18. I’m hearing Leicester might have time to hold the home leg this year
  19. I don't think there were any Fridays both Oxford and Glasgow had free, or that weren't affected by riders appearing somewhere else. Understandable for both teams to want to be full strength. I think there was one week the teams could do but there were already other events on and it was asking too much of the track staff. That's the other thing we often overlook - some people take time off work to volunteer in order for us to get our fix. They give up a lot, but they still need to earn their living.
