Hi Fina. The VAT debt from the previous owners was already dealt with under the previous Ltd Co entity that Rob & Co took over. When I say dealt with...that business was declared bankrupt. Then a new Ltd Co was formed which is the current business. Hope that helps

Feeling a bit uncomfortable with people slagging Grant & Co, but hey, every is entitled to their opinion. It was a poisoned chalice from the beginning taking over the club. The tax debt from previous management was the tell tale sign that things were going south for a few years previously for our beloved club. The chances of getting someone in.....I think we all know thats slim, there was hardly a rush for it last season. I hope everyone is at peace with themselves, whether you did the trackwalk and picked up some shale, got your favourite merchandise, photo with your favourite rider.....time to treasure it.

3 away meetings against 3 top teams is never going to be a favourable start. The promotion highlighted at the start of the season that we would be competitive at home with home track advantage, which I still believe, and hopefully keeps the fans coming through the turnstiles. One thing I noticed at Ashfield on Friday was Connor Bailey still in his race suit going around the bar speaking to everyone and anyone. Absolutely first class fan engagement from the young lad. Does this happen at Brough? A bit of rider/fan engagement will probably go a long way right now.

That is encouraging to hear that Congreve is getting out and about the tracks. Sounds like he has the right attitude. Whether he rides at 6 or 7, its gonna be a tough year learning the British tracks, but if he keeps up this good start & good attitude, then he'll be fine. Wonder how he is finding the Geordie accent so far lol

Hi Chris. Really hope you do make it up. Edinburgh are a team that have a similar tight bends & always put up a good show at Brough. But in fairness, our closest geographical rivals, Glasgow, Redcar, Berwick have ridden the track for a while now, so Im sure whatever meeting you choose will be worthwhile

Given the fact we are lucky to have speedway, I think the Promotion have done a great job putting this team together. I would have been delighted to see Complin back in speedway full stop as his fantastic ability and massive kahoonas during a race was there to see on the track. But even more delighted it’s with a Diamonds race jacket. A team of racers and entertainers indeed.

No mention of riders as assets on the official liquidation paperwork. From memory it was a tractor and some cash in the bank
