  1. I was just going to mention that. Quite baffling
  2. I'd still keep Kennett in - he has to learn someday. Put the legwork now and we might win a WTC in 3 to 5 years time. No need for a quickfix replacement.
  3. In a roundabout way it is - but I still see the likes of Sweden and Poland in a crossroads of Speedway - when you consider their support from a young age they are underachieving massively. We currently have possibly 2/3 potential GP rideers at an age where the Under 21 WC is more of a worry for them. I think he has every right to not turn up - to go all the way to Ljubliana for a ride because of a tapes offence is not right. He should have been provisional reserve until Wednesday and then give the no.17 and 18 spots to local juniors.
  4. I haven't got much of a clue but I had a quick look at trains in case I book a flight which lands in the late hours of the day and their trains are 'very efficient'. It's an option to get to Gelsenkirchen but to the Airport no idea.
  5. Bydgoszcz - Amazing experience, completely different from Cardiff but all the more exciting and entertaining.
  6. I think Howe lost his place in the GP Qualifier in Italy. He really should have qualified in that considering the quality of rider.
  7. Funnily enough, the only negative of the day. Milli Stad Ticket Office's allocation ran out - only selling £65 Went to the ticket office on Westgate Street. The chap got us 3 family tickets plus 2 children all together - smashing work from him. I noticed that all these tickets were full-stubbed, so anybody could have bought a family ticket and used for 4 blokes. It seems they only had an allocation also and once this ran out, there would be a panic. When I got to the stadium to see the Front Straight;'s £32 tickets completely empty - made me angry because it simply proven they hadn't printed enough tickets for the event.
  8. I shouldn't have said that so much convication, people think I know something. I don't know but Cardiff will be in June, not March as suggested sometime last year. It could be late June again - cos of Euro 2008 Qualifiers. EDIT: Just released it will be Euro 2008 that summer.
  9. I read that's not the case. The reserve come in for anybody at anytime - but once he takes one rider's ride, he has all of that riders' rides. People back in Winter were suggestion the situation of having a topline rider at reserve ready to come in for one rider once he's had his ride against the very top or very worst riders.
  10. That was if there was to be 10 GPs this year to make it the 100th GP ever but now that's not the case. Germany is 100th and Cardiff will be in its normal slot in 2008.
  11. Simple if Stead or Kennett start off badly - after two rides - bring in Howe as reserve.
  12. I have elected not to go but defo next year by that time - Bomber will be ready to show Gollob the quickest line around the Polonia Stadium
  13. Yes, he's too young but looks like the prospect who will keep USA in the world stage.
  14. Watched the 1973 run-off yesterday - still half in shock what happened after Mauger goes down.
  15. Once you step over the netting - you are bound to be ejected - I think by law even.
  16. It's not - hence why many people like me will have both on DVD. The official DVD shows some great insights into the event (will the boxset did) and different camera angles and replays.
  17. Just seen the GB team in a Dorset newspaper (whether it;s correct or not a different matter( Nicholls Harris Rico Stead Kennett Reserve - Howe
  18. Or maybe Harris was one of the only riders who actually rode the ruts? Same applied to Nicholls, Hancock and Crump who all showed great skill riding the ruts. There was the near on replica of N Pedersen's exclusion with Crump - who managed to use the rut and unwanted bit of grip to his advantage in the qualifying heats.
  19. Watched it on DVD last night again! Them 4 laps of the final will send shivers up me spine forever. It's in about lap 3 when you can no longer hear the air horns and it becomes desperate screams - it sends me near to tears. My non-Speedway dad reckons he's off Poland, Germany, Latvia, Czech Republic
  20. No idea what pub I went into, I was there from 5 to 6.30. Next to City Arms, small enterance and medium sized inside. Enjoyed it - loosen the nerves
  21. Third tier, second turn apparently on the telly in Harris celebration. Near the Poles with the Bydgoszcz banner.
  22. Never though I'd see a British Grand Prix winner - I am 19.
