Nice to see Bridger got his first win in Poland (and scoring more points than Richardson in the process)

Stead Or Kennett For The Gb Wildcard?
Hazzman replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
It was......from CVS (who happens to be holding the event and as Howe at his club) suggesting it gave some 'intention' to the British Final. No BSPA official has mentioned or referred to the suggestion. -

Where's the rest of Britain to say that would want Schlein over a Brit?!? -
Stead Or Kennett For The Gb Wildcard?
Hazzman replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Or best placed non-GP rider.....but I doubt it, there's been no 'official' word on the suggestion. Say if Barker had a superb night and came 3rd behind Nicholls and Harris, would BSPA and Middlo give Barker the wild card? I doubt it, I think the wild card should be rewarded on a rider's half-a-season form. It's only fair to a season's form because you could have the situation of a rider having bike probelms or gaining unfair advantage riding on his home track. It's between Kennett and Stead - there is pro's and con's between the pair of them. My cynical view says Kennett however simply down to his relationship with Middlo (and Stead's on that point). -
Stead Or Kennett For The Gb Wildcard?

The reserves should be slots for youngsters....the likes of Bridger, Auty, Woffinden, Wright and Lawson. Howe, Stead and Kennett have tasted the atmosphere at Cardiff, so they would learn nothing from reserve. -

World U21 Semifinals Ballot

Both should be cracking meetings looking at the line-ups. I think only Kennett will remain from the Brits. -

Nicholls, Harris, Rico, Stead, Kennett/Howe Difficult choice the last 'un both started impressly but even more impressive as been Kennett's Polish form which suggests he's on the 'pace'. I'd get Bridger, Auty and Woffinden all involved in the set-up. Invite them to Coventry and take them to Poland. -
World Under 21 Qualifier - Rye House
Hazzman replied to Crazy Munchie's topic in International World of Speedway
One of the reasons I did like to go. Highly rated rider, learning his trade at Bydgoszcz. Be interesting to see if he can get on with Rye. Shame there isn't one of the most accomplished Poles riding. -
Whos Your Tips To Make The Final In Wroclaw
Hazzman replied to ghostie's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Well in consideration of the GP competition, I nearly went with Zagar who was on 12 pts. But I'll go Crump, Andersen, Hampel, Pedersen Then, Hancock, Adams, Zagar, Gollob. -
Wroclaw Tickets

You're luck maybe in. With the two Poles upfront for the Saints. Foreign football showing the Polish players is often screened. -

Hinderence - proved it on Saturday. Struggled coming out first heat after the soaking. Didnt help with Lonigo's death gate tho. -
Cheers for the reports, Anders. Much appreciated
-
He is 4 foot 9 inches tho.

What fool decide to keep soaking the track with water, between Heat 5-8 we seen some decent stuff. They didnt lightly sprinkle the track, soaked it. Dreadful and left us with no passing except Harris cracking overtake of Bjarne Pedersen. I predict Nicki to win and he did. Never looked troubled.

If you hunt the torrents you should find something.

Taken note of, 2 minutes after reading it. Best not create a fuss about as no doubt Shovlar will use this one race as the basis for an argument that Kennett will score a maximum at Arena tonight.
-
I look forward to watching this later in the week. In fact, even better to see Kennett getting in the better of Hancock and Jonsson in one race.
-
Thinking the same....interesting to watch Carpanese again...his attempt at over-taking Gollob last year was funny

After seeing some of the coverage, overcrowded? It was super overcrowded, kids off trees, hang off perimeter fences, sitting on overhanging balconies overlooking the stadium. All which made it extremely hard to police and steward correctly and from that came the opportunity for some very dim-minded idiots to run across the track and cause abuse. The stadium from television pictures, it never looked a dangerous atmosphere. The punishment seems about right IMO. But any repeat offending should be taken more seriously. Just a question, whats the ticketing policy within reference to Polish speedway and also their policy towards stewarding. It seem to be that this area is particularly grey.

Thanks for that interesting and informative read. Interesting about the American, Matt Browne.

Interesting it took a non-Brit before someone placed him in a decent position.

So, you're a fan of Nicholls Matt?!? You best go hide before Sub's here
