  1. Just started raining fairly heavy not far from the track. Forecast showing rain until 6pm so they will do well to get this on tonight.
  2. He has also scored 3 points across 3 heat 13s and 1 heat 15 while not featuring in 2 heat 15s at Ashfield. Which translates nicely to utterly hopeless. Worrall is one of the good guys in speedway and comes across as very professional. However, any Tigers fan with a modicum of knowledge knew exactly what we are getting with him. He is a gater and always will be and that does not bode well these days on our track.
  3. Do not think anybody was predicting a 12 point win this evening. Some superb racing especially with heat 12. Special mention to Jack Smith who has certainly improved as a rider and ended up scoring paid more than the other 3 reserves combined.
  4. You must be one of those new fans. Shane Parker used to do it almost weekly for double points.
  5. Wow. I withdraw my previous comment and apologise in full.
  6. Yeah. He definitely does rely on speedway to make a living even though he has relentlessly badmouthed the sport at every turn you will see how desperate he is to come back when he coughs up the £4500 with his tail between his legs.
  7. I knew as soon as I seen that happen on the stream some outright whopper on here would mention it. Congratulations @SJA you are that whopper.
  8. The path to continual success stops for no man. The long journey to the Premiership title starts now.
  9. I recall the tigers management stating they would not move up a league until they won the league title in the league they were in. I wonder if next season the tigers will line up at the tapes in the top league now. As for riders it is tough to guess without knowing the points limit but I would gladly take Doyle and Emil off Ipswich
  10. An absolute masterclass from the oracle Cammy Brown to purposely perform poorly at Poole throughout the season and then turn up to wipe the floor with the pirates in the play off final. The man is a speedway genius.
  11. My condolences to Shovlar who has went into hiding for the foreseeable future. THE MIGHTY GLASGOW TIGERS
  12. My head is more frazzled by a guy repeating the same ‘no doubt about that.” While mixing it up with the occasional ‘no question about that.” 500 times over 2 hours. In Kelvins own words I am ‘working overtime’ listening to his commentary and once the meeting is finished I turn off the television at a ‘jet propelled’ speed. Anyway, back to the topic of the thread. The petition for Lee Complin to get into the Glasgow Tigers hall of fame starts here.
  13. You must love Tatum who stumbles and stutters his way around trying to relay what he is seeing into words and by the time he has the chequered flag is fluttering away. David Rowe makes your average speedway heat sound interesting and definitely makes the sport come across as more exciting to your average Joe Public.
  14. What a result for the mighty Glasgow Tigers. Started to look like the chance was going approaching heat 12. However the referee putting all 4 back in heat 12 was absolutely scandalous. Almost as bad as calamity cammys decision to keep Pijper in the race instead of Complin. Got away with it in the end but extremely poor management you cannot hide from that fact. Bring on the Pirates.
  15. If the clown team manager puts pijper in another race instead of Jack Smith I am Jackin’ it in.
  16. In truth that was a fitting way for wolves to bow out of the sport and arguably part of the reason why the sport is on such a decline. What a shameful excuse for entertainment and the paying fan that was. Embarrassing. Wonder if Sheffield offered a reduced adult ticket knowing fine well it was only going to heat 10.
  17. A leaked snapshot from the Allied team meeting regarding the rearranged Oxford fixture on Tuesday.
  18. https://glasgowtigers.co.uk/cheetahs-date-set/?fbclid=IwAR1vQgvx5V2AgYscYLN3makO5pCrGmxu5SSCb8BQ6FUzIgQ5RDD_2U3lwZk_aem_Ad8fHOaEFChGoSElyRHVPkL-NyOdUtJN8-5_TZOGc3XE0kRF43d9KAWuaTGVFUUIe_4 Article above ^^^^
  19. The cut off was this Saturday. Until the league sponsors rocked up and said that wont be happening. GLASGOW’S potential Cab Direct Championship Play-Off decider with Oxford will now take place on Tuesday, October 3. The Allied Vehicles Tigers clash with the Cheetahs had originally been scheduled to take place last night (Tuesday).
  20. The main commentator is spouting otherworldly levels of waffle tonight.
