  1. As a Lions fans it was a disappointment in the end. I think up to when the rain came we battled and kept ourselves in it. Soon as the rain hit that's when pretty much looked second best and couldn't get near the Aces. It's such a shame the rain spoilt it because I think the score would have been a little less making it finely poised for the second leg. Either way we've still had a great season and I'm a proud lions supporter. I'm sorry thought guys but the tie is over, the only way Leicester stand a chance is if the rain stays away and the track is completely dry. Only Leicester fans understand how bad we are on a damp track. So unless it's dry I don't see us getting anywhere near the aces. It does feel like abit of a anti climax really but well done to the aces. I have no issue with them winning the play offs, fans I've spoken to have always been friendly so if it wasn't Leicester winning then I'm fine with Belle Vue. Il be watching the second leg at home cheering on the boys. I never go Eurosport meetings just to save money. I've shown appreciation attending all the other meetings. Been a great season. No longer the wipping boys, but a far more respectable club putting together decent sides and promoting the youth.
  2. Because the track will be wet and we are awful in wet conditions. Most fans will be there but a few hundred won't bother watching there team come second. Leicester lot are a miserable bunch you should hear Leicester City fans...moan moan moan. I support West Ham so I'm an exception
  3. Better getting booking hotels in Norfolk area Aces fans already had Buster on phone he's fixed the pit gate.
  4. Such a shame that probably most of Leicester fans won't bother now for the final.
  5. Its a shame the weather has spoilt the racing really. Damage limitation now for the Lions. Just get that heat win
  6. Il take 8 down but I fear belle vue will mount a lead
  7. I really dot get why Leciester don't go that wide.. it's so frustrating. Belle Vue do it so why can't we????
  8. Better from lions but for whatever reason we never look quick at this place .
  9. Hagon goes on the outside. So masters and becker decide not too but Bewley does. Make that make sense.
  10. Remember against oxford it was raining and we had 3 heat losses in a row. We don't cope well at all in wet conditions
  11. At this rate there's not much point going to Leicester. Belle Vue looking much stronger. Fricke letting us down
  12. Belle Vue are favourites for sure but I'm such a proud lions supporter this season. In our history we are usually the whipping boys so this is just fun to be here. Don't expect flares and bend 2 army folks were just glad we're here lol
  13. I'm not even an Ipswich fan but I really do hope Emil is back. Pleasure to watch at Leicester. Will never forget his first ever ride at Leicester when he broke the track record
  14. If the track is sodden then I don't think it evens it out. Like Phil said, Belle Vue wipe the floor with Leicester last time it was wet. Let's hope the Lions can make good starts
  15. Leicester should do a double header Play off final and Jubilee final
  16. Belle have the better side but Leicester do have the second leg. Belle Vue riding Leicester is a harder task than Leicester riding Belle Vue. If that makes sense. Belle Vue are great at home but it's a racing track, there's always something for every type of rider. That what makes it so good. Leicester on the other hand is a gaters paradise. Leicester are great at gating but all it takes is for Belle Vue to get the set up right and they could have enough finish the meeting off by heat 10. I just lean towards Belle vue over two legs, they've been here before and won it. This is new territory for us. There isnt as much pressure, we are just happy to have made the final. Ofcourse we want to win it, but in Leicester entire history let's be honest, we have been absolutely terrible until Stewart Dickson became manager. Il be there on Thursday weather permitting and whatever the result it's been a great season. First leg BV 52 - 38 Lions Second leg Lions 50 - 40 Aces
