I'd retain Lingren, Cook, Brennan and maybe Flint. All rising stars seem to struggle in this season. Apart from super Dan T. It's hard to guess but every team is going to make a change so there are options available. Doesn't have to be a super expensive side, just a team that wins more at home. That finish lad could be available along with Tate. Although Belle Vue may have both of them..They need to get a strong number 5 for heats 13 and 15. Think of how many meetings they've lost in heat 15 this season . Brennan and Lampart at 3 n 4 is decent . Lingren at 1, strong number 5 and get a steady eddy reserve and the brummies can optimistic.

Just listened to no brakes no fear with Tolley giving an interview and it sounds Birmingham will be back next year which is great news! He did also say that 4 riders would be coming back? Just a wild guess Brennan, Lampart, Cook and Flint?

Birmingham v Leicester Mon 12th August PL

Would be attending to support the Lions but just got back from Bloodstock Festival and I'm shattered to say the least. Playing a show of that calibre has taken it out of me for sure. Back to normal now back ro support the Lions. Hoping for a win here. Going for a last heat decider! -
Leicester v Belle Vue 25 July

Great result for the Lions. Still work to be done but it all seems to be coming together abit now. Wasn't at meeting but my mate was constantly moaning about the lack of passing at the meeting to my dad, shortly after a voice shouted from a distance said ' oh shut up you ' it was Dave Hemsley ! He doesn't mind getting stick about the track and we all take the piss out of him for it ! Just a good laugh at the end of the day and he certainly enjoys watching meetings with his pals now. He seems much happier. Play offs are now more a game of guess who with the injuries to Ipswich and Sheffield. Can the Lions be a dark horse ? Still not convinced but it's good to see us strong at home again -

Leicester v Ipswich July 18th

Great result for the Lions just about keeps us in the hunt for the play offs. Thought the crowd was not too bad either. I wouldn't worry too much Witches fans it was just an off night and Emil seems to be hitting top form again from what I saw last night. Once again I was very impressed Keynan Rew, still trying to figure out why his average is so low because everytime he comes to Leicester he seems to ride the track really well. Much better from Luke Becker as well, he looked on the pace and hopefully this is the turning point for him. What about heat 13 aye? That was some race and I haven't seen a race like that at Leicester this season, just shows if you attack the track at Leicested it can produce some really good racing. Just simply sensational stuff. -

Glad Scotty Nicholls is guesting, always glad to see him back at the den and will make this meeting even more interesting. This one is too close to call. Leaning towards an Witches win as they seem to love our track everytime they visit -
If the Brummies do decide to go for it again next season then the team needs to be completely different not just in quality but in its attitude and culture. The fans aren't asking for a world class team but rather one that is decent at home and doesn't seem to throw in the towel. They should be looking at riders such as : Masters, Ben n Zack Cook, Mountain, Simon Lambert, Douglas, King, Lawson etc. Real steady eddy's basically with ofcourse a good number 1 like Lingren if wanted to try GB again

Can't wait for Tolleys post match thoughts, honestly you can tell he's not media savy.. -
I can blame him, surely everyone knows Cook is massively inconsistent at this level and Kemp wasn't even at fault for Leicesters poor form
-
Unfortunately he won't be dropped as he's best mates with the owners, unless he grows a pair and drops him.
-
Stewart has got it all wrong again . Not only has he managed to screw up dropping Kemp for Cook but he's also becoming more and more unpopular with the fans. He seems to be falling out with everyone left right and centre

Attacking leicesters track is something I've heard alot from top riders coming to the den. Emil and Doyle love Leicesters track because they are brave with it. -

No surprises here. Everyone but Lawson is having a bad meeting again away from home. -
In terms of relevance to Berwick, they proved to a point to Stewart, who believe it or not manages Berwick ! Also, the twins rode against Berwick last night, seems liked there's enough relevance to me!
-
Ever since he's fell out with Thompsons twins and there family it's like they always seems to come back to haunt him. Dan T score a 9 +1 for Ipswich at Leicester now they both score well last night...

British Final 2024

Who cares what it's called. Belle Vue use it every week. And guess what ? One there best riders uses it every week. So it's a clear and obvious advantage to Bewley. -

Sorry still going to have to disagree with you when this is Bewleys 3rd title in a row! Plus it's his home track, so my point still stands. It's like the play off system, when you finish top you are the best team in the land over a longer period. Fact. One day of racing doesn't tell the whole picture. It should be spread out over a few different tracks with the last meeting at Belle Vue. That is in my eyes at true reflection of the best rider in Britian. -

Imagine if it was held at Sheffield every season with Tai riding there, or Lambert at King's Lynn, or even Scott Nicholls at Ipswich. Belle Vue fans would start a riot! -

I get it's held at Belle Vue of course as it's clearly one of the better venues in the country. It does stop me from going though as it's miles away from me. If they did it as rounds rather than a one off meeting your more likely to get a true British champion. Could be done at Glasgow, Belle Vue, Leicester and Poole. All venues that can hold a decent amount of fans and are all unique in there own way. It also gives fans all across the country to go and watch the final and increase profit and revenue. Imagine being a Poole or Plymouth fan travelling all the way up to Manchester. Just my thoughts though, I highly doubt they will change the venue. Seems like Belle Vue and the BSPA are best buddies -

He moaned a while back that Dan Bewley was too skinny and had a huge advantage on belle Vues track and suggested it be spread it out the whole year at different tracks.
