  1. I'm not ruling it out because it's certainly a left field announcement for Stevie's testimonial imo.
  2. That's why I've come up with the very long shot team manager theory purely because I cant build a competitive 1-7 featuring Andersen and other riders who've been linked with us this winter that ties in with Tomalin's comments. Tomalin has gone public again today saying we must make the play-offs with the team we've put together and to me that doesn't sound like the 1-7 side that's 2.30 under the limit because everybody knows it's got no chance of even being in contention for a play-off spot (Wooden spoon guaranteed)
  3. Also liking social media posts saying that we've moved the Dads Army Legends on though which suggests Hans has gone too.
  4. I don't know tbh, Lindback was mentioned on the Ipswich thread a few weeks back though. I'm just putting 2 and 2 together though.
  5. He'd be a 7.00, I don't think he's at Panthers but I just found it interesting that he's riding in a Testimonial for a rider he doesn't have any kind of connection with. Could be at Ipswich though imo.
  6. Have Lindback and Steve Worrall ever ridden in the same 1-7 because I cant recall that happening tbh? If they haven't then it's really odd that Lindback is riding in Steve's Testimonial imo. Could be down to Lindback wanting to get a few laps in on a British track ahead of the new Premiership season (Key word could)
  7. I thought that was interesting too. Very weird how he's going to ride in Steve Worrall's testimonial when they barely know each other.
  8. Me neither, We know for sure that 7 riders have put pen to paper now because we've heard that from the horses mouth as the saying goes. Therefore I honestly don't think Tomalin would be still be talking about play-offs if we were left way short of the points limit having to go with a 1-7 that nobody really wanted on the management side of things either. To me Tomalin's comments scream NKI, R. Worrall, Basso, Tungate, C. Holder, B. Cook & Jenkins.
  9. That was mentioned in the club press release last week so it has to be that one imo.
  10. Exactly why the 1-7 on here cant be correct.
  11. Back to Panthers chat. If our 1-7 is sh1te then it's not going to go down well among the fan base considering the lengthy wait which is just frustrating at this point, It's not stirring up interest at all even though it was at first.
  12. I don't buy the Emil rumours, I think it's false info leaked by the club to certain individuals who are then leaking it across social media, The clubs are hardly going to admit to scrambling over the same riders as it makes them both sound desperate. Emil has to breach his mega money contract with Torun and start a rift with them after singing a contract under specific terms set by Torun's management stating that he has to agree to not ride in any other country. FIM can step in but at the end of the day Emil has no case because he signed a contract under specific terms stating that he wouldn't ride in another country. Say for example the FIM take his side just to continue the story, after all of that, he'd then have to rely on a Pro-Ukrainian British Government to do him a favour and then hope that Torun don't terminate him for breaching the terms in his contract after double crossing them.
  13. Can only be down to us wanting the same riders imo, It's just too much of a coincidence to be anything else imo.
  14. Could be a couple of reasons imo. 1. His career is coming to an end so it's a case of getting every last penny out of the sport while he still can. 2. Could also be a farewell tour when it comes to British Speedway like Kasprzak at Lynn.
  15. Nicki P did say that he wouldn't rule out picking himself for the World Cup if he performs well next season.
  16. One of the two sides that I posted earlier.
  17. Only an idiot would think that though, The proposed team is a complete mess, Engine room is a disaster. 2. Hans who's way past it and cant ride big tracks anymore, GSA likely to drop again. 3. Basso riding out of position as a HL with extra pressure on his young shoulders who's only going to be starting his second season in the Prem. 4. R. Worrall also riding out of position who's GSA will drop, 5+2 or 6+1 is his limit.
  18. I'll put the kettle on for ya. Tea two sugars sound good?
  19. One of these because they're the only sides that hold any logic. 1. Nicki P 2. Andersen 3. Basso 4. Tungate or R. Worrall 5. NKI 6. B. Cook 7. JJ Rob Lyon (Team Manager) or 1. NKI 2. R. Worrall 3. Basso 4. Tungate 5. C. Holder 6. B. Cook 7. JJ (Hans Andersen Team Manager)
  20. If Holder does get confirmed then I'll work on the basis of Hans Andersen being the team manager rather than a rider. It's just a really tough sell for me to believe the proposed 1-7 on this thread. Tomalin is a very successful businessman who's putting extra finances into the club so I don't believe that he would make a twit out of himself in public before he's even started his new job by heaping praise and talking about winning a league title with an uncompetitive team that's 2 something under the limit.
  21. I'm working on the basis that either NKI or Holder is out because the proposed 1-7 on here doesn't hold any logic and it doesn't tie in with Tomalin's comments all winter, Tomalin is still talking about challenging for the title now so I don't think he'd embarrass himself like that before he's even got his feet under the table in his new role if the team wasn't competitive. Out of the two I'm more confident on NKI being in for two reasons. 1. Due to the Buster factor (NKI has always been Busters go to guy) and (Buster and Chris have previous issues to iron out) 2. Flappy said Chris Holder signed ages ago with three other locks for 2023, Those other three have all been announced but Chris hasn't (Is that just a coincidence)
  22. If we're going 2.3 under the limit to begin with then it means that nobody from Europe is willing to ride for us. (We're not imo) Nobody offers Hans a job on a 4.93 when they've got over 7.00 points left until they've explored all avenues. (Just an example) Personally I don't even think we've got 7 something left over though, I think the rumoured 1-7 is wrong because it holds no logic (Opinion) Only 1-7 that holds any logic involving Hans Andersen is this because it only leaves us 0.39 or 0.85 short of the 39.00 points limit Nicki P Andersen Basso Tungate / Worrall NKI B. Cook JJ
  23. With a bit of luck Batchelor might be available. If not we could grab a Championship rider who's already set up in Britain like Craig Cook, Ben Barker, Kye Thomson or Jonas Knudsen if no EU rider is available.
