  1. I forgot about that but yes Tungate too then.
  2. Love a conspiracy theory so here's one that's based around a domino effect between two clubs, Kind of makes sense as well imo, Let me know what you think. 1. Peterborough's team building suffers delay after delay and Ipswich team building is now delayed yet another month according to Hawkins. 2. Ipswich aren't getting Emil and it's all PR and instead they're waiting to see if Tomalin completes the takeover of Peterborough because if he doesn't then they're getting Chris Holder to go with Danyon Hume. 3. Chris Holder has chosen his destination for 2023 (Peterborough) but it's only a verbal agreement on the basis that the club is owned by Tomalin, Deal off if Buster remains in charge. 4. If Tomalin completes the takeover and Holder finally puts pen to paper then Ipswich will probably end up with Richie Worrall considering he's the rider who's in one minute and then out the next at Peterborough but Peterborough aren't giving Richie the green light to sign for Ipswich just yet as we'll need him if the takeover doesn't happen. 5. Ipswich aren't signing a seventh rider until they know who the sixth rider is going to be but they've got verbal agreements in place with riders too as confirmed by Hawkins on Twitter. My guess is those riders are Chris Holder, Richie Worrall and Danyon Hume. The Emil stuff just isn't believable to me as I can't see Emil going back on his word by pishing off Torun's management and causing a rift with them to a point where the FIM has to step just so he can ride in Britain. Torun can easily terminate Emil for breach of contract if the Speedway Star article is true about the conditions in Emil's Polish contract where he agreed to ride in Poland only. All of this results in the following 1-7's for both clubs Tomalin owned Panthers (NKI, Andersen, Basso, Tungate, Holder, Cook & JJ) or Buster owned Panthers (NKI, Andersen, Tungate, Worrall, Basso, Cook & JJ) Ipswich (Doyle, Worrall, Riss, King, Rew, Thomas + Batchelor or a returning engine rider to Britain) or (Doyle, Rew, King, Riss, Holder, Hume & Thomas)
  3. If it's a Tomalin 1-7 then I've got 100% faith in both Holder and Tungate being in with only one of Andersen or Worrall. Just a lot of ifs, buts and maybe's at the moment. Our ITK's have given us a select pool of possibilities for 2023 to build a 1-7 with and that pool is thin (Nicki P, NKI, Holder, Tungate, Worrall & Andersen) unless their is some wildcards that nobody knows about.
  4. A more in depth look at my latest 1-7 just screams Buster Chapman 1-7. We've got NKI @ 1 apparently and he's Buster's go to go guy when searching for a No.1, NKI always rides for Buster Chapman whether it's at KL or Panthers, NKI was going to be a Panther a couple of years ago but the season got cancelled. We've got Basso and apparently the early rumour was that Ben wanted to ride for KL another Buster owned club before dropping Premiership racing altogether until another U-Turn happened. We've got Richie Worrall apparently and it's an easy move for Buster Chapman to make giving a member of his 2022 KL Stars side a gig at Panthers in 2023. We've got Hans Andersen apparently and it's an easy budget deal to do at whatever price Buster feels like paying for Hans because Hans wouldn't be in a position to demand a certain amount as no other club would go near him in 2023 so it's a case of ride for this amount or don't ride at all. Chris Holder & Buster Chapman wouldn't work for each other again so he's 100% out if the side isn't owned by Michael Tomalin so it brings us full circle to Rohan Tungate's like that he left on the Panthers facebook post regarding the fixture list and he can complete the 1-5 with the already announced reserve pairing of Cook & Jenkins.
  5. Unfortunately so, The bottom part of the article doesn't fill me with any confidence at all tbh. Your info said 4 had signed and 3 of those were confirmed one after the other at a reasonable pace but Holder hasn't been announced yet which makes me think something could've gone wrong with that one and by the process of elimination everything points towards Holder or NKI being out. Hawkins comments tells us Andersen & Worrall are both at Peterborough imo, Tungate's like on the fixture list post points towards Rohan being a done deal imo. I also think Buster Chapman remains as the owner as it stands because that 1-7 is a Buster Chapman side rather than a Michael Tomalin side imo.
  6. My prediction. Andersen & Worrall locks imo (Ipswich not interested), Tungate liked the fixture list post, NKI will take all the work he can get considering he's at the back end of his career and Polish rules allow him to do 4 leagues now, The other 3 have been confirmed already. NKI Andersen Tungate Worrall Basso B. Cook JJ
  7. At least that's something. No way is the rumoured 1-7 true now going by that article. Some ins are now outs and I think Chris Holder is one of them because he would've been announced by now if he signed ages ago imo.
  8. Management have to do something because they'll run at a massive financial loss otherwise. They won't shift many season tickets with just the 3 riders announced and barely anyone will buy one if the team is 2 something under the limit containing both Andersen & Worrall. Our management have talked a big game all winter so they've got to deliver the goods now.
  9. Blinded by loyalty / love to a point where neither side even considers leaving the other no matter how bad it gets. We can now pencil Andersen in at Peterborough until he decides to retire now, Signing him on a 4.93 when you've got over 7.00 points left to use tells us everything we need to know about the clubs thinking behind the decision imo.
  10. I know which is why we're stuffed imo. Going to have a rider struggling to score well at No.2 all season now and our No.4 (Worrall) is never going to ride above his average on a consistent basis.
  11. The following 1-7 results in us getting close to the points limit as well as having Andersen at 6 for most of the season at worst and he'd only be replaced at 6 by Batchelor or Worrall who should clean up. Worrall done a fair few meetings at 3 for KL while Batch was riding at 5 for Ipswich. NKI Batch Basso Worrall Holder Andersen JJ
  12. Hans at 2 with Ben Cook at 6 doesn't work for one obvious reason. If Hans drops to reserve after the first set of GSA's then Ben Cook has to ride in the 1-5 after a handful of meetings when he's got no top flight experience.
  13. I can remember you suggesting that and I can understand the logic behind it now tbh.
  14. That's why I suggested that we let Ben Cook go for Troy Batchelor. Hans can then ride at 6 and if he manages to get out of reserve then Batchelor or Worrall will ride at 6.
  15. Theory If Andersen & Worrall are in then maybe NKI is actually out for a different No.1 on a higher average that no ITK has heard about?
  16. If Panthers didn't exist then I'd nip down to KL a few times but I wouldn't support them, I'd just go to watch a few meetings at the AFA as a neutral fan. Reason I said that earlier is normally you see fans of previous clubs that don't exist anymore end up heading down to the nearest local track and some of them end up supporting that club. Take Swindon fans heading down to Oxford as a recent example.
  17. Ideally I'd like Hans Andersen to go but it doesn't sound like it. We just cant run almost 2.5 under the limit because the team wouldn't be competitive imo.
  18. I see Hawkins has let the fans know that Ipswich won't be making any announcements for a few weeks, That tells me they're still trying for Emil. Also tells us they've got no interest in signing Worrall unless it's out of desperation at the eleventh hour, It's a case of we'll settle for him if we cant get anyone else.
  19. If the club insist of being loyal to Hans again then Ben Cook has to released for Troy Batchelor. Yes it's harsh on Ben but you simply cannot go almost 2.5 under the limit and expect to compete at this level with anyone.
  20. Club will have some explaining to do if we end up with the inevitable. The 1-7 hype train in full effect, Trying to get people to part with good money during a cost of living crisis, Fans kept in the dark all winter with a lack of info etc. I could honestly see fans supporting King's Lynn or Ipswich instead starting from next season tbh considering Peterborough won't have a future after the 2023 season if the club doesn't have a new owner with new land. The die hard Speedway fans will still want to see their regular fix of racing live each week and KL/Ipswich are the closest tracks to us for them to visit.
  21. I don't have a problem with Worrall signing as he'll hold his own and do a job but Hans Andersen on a 4.93 when you've got over 7.00 points left isn't a tolerable singing in my book. With Polish lower league riders now allowed to do 4 leagues now you throw money at them and get one of them over because money talks and one of them is bound to budge. MJJ, Pawlicki, Lahti, Nilsson, Buczkowski, Zagar, Lyager, Berntzon, Kildemand, Lindback, Tungate, Patrick Hansen etc.
  22. If they're both in (Likely imo) then I wouldn't put it past the club to delay the announcements until press and practice day considering how much of a negative impact it will have on season ticket sales.
