  1. Best deal for all parties would be this. R. Worrall to Ipswich and then a trade between the two clubs which sees Hans Andersen head to Ipswich in exchange for Troy Batchelor.
  2. Hans Andersen? He rides Foxhall very well.
  3. We'll hear some team news tonight imo. That's just me guessing though.
  4. For what it's worth I think you'll end up getting Richie anyway tbh. But yeah I do agree with your reply on Zagar tbh. I don't think Emil is likely but PTA said a few of his sources think he's nailed on for Ipswich so I wouldn't rule Emil entirely out yet even though it's a massive long shot.
  5. You'd be alright as long as Guy can help fund a big move (Zagar or Emil)
  6. More in depth look at the possible 1-7. Personally I'd rank Peterborough just behind table toppers Sheffield on paper. NKI (Out and Out No.1 around Peterborough who'll get you a double figure return every week at Home, Still good for 8-9 points on the road per meeting) Worrall/Andersen (Worrall solid for 5+2 or 6+1 almost every week, Andersen a huge worry if it's him at No.2 though as I really think it's one season too many) Tungate (Out and Out No.1 around Peterborough and the figures back that up, Just have to expect a poor points return on technical tracks) Basso (Basically won almost every race he was in towards the back end of last season around Peterborough, Will only improve again) Chris Holder (Smashed up the Ekstraliga last year so he won't have any problem in scoring 10+ a meeting almost every week) Ben Cook (Rated by Poole and they know a good Aussie talent when they see one, Poole are a very well run club by the Ford family who've introduced so many Aussie's to British Speedway and they've hit a Home run with the majority of them, Ben is only going to improve just like Basso. Jenkins (Earned his chance to comeback and he's probably the second strongest RS going into the next season if you take a more in depth look at things like riders returning from big injuries who may take a while to get the confidence back, Mulford doesn't even have a full year of Championship experience under his belt and Dan Thompson doesn't have a team place in the Championship to start with next season apparently) I'd personally like to see the No.2 berth given to Troy Batchelor though as I think he'd put up some really good numbers next season riding in the easy No.2 race jacket rather than having to ride at No.5 against the oppositions 1 & 5 constantly.
  7. Hopefully Ipswich do get Emil just so we can get Richie Worrall lol (Can't see it unfortunately as it makes no sense to throw Rew in the deep end by having him ride in the 1-5 with someone like Hume having to ride @ No.6) The Worrall Brothers are handy riders to have in any side imo. You can bank on them putting in a solid shift for your team almost every week without putting up spectacular numbers where's most other riders who ride at No.2 are very inconsistent where they would score 2 one week and then 7 the following week.
  8. I can't think of anyone available close to 8.40 odd so it's got to be Tungate or Zagar imo. Zagar's very expensive for what he offers outside of the NSS imo so it's a big layout for an average return imo. Tungate on the other hand is a No.5 minimum around Peterborough and he'd be cheaper than Zagar so he's the most logical option imo.
  9. Tbf Flappy's track record speaks for itself this winter. Not even a guesser would get that lucky 24/7 tbh. First to say KK was riding in the UK and he was going to Lynn, First to say Gilkes to Sheffield etc. Also you have to take into account that the 5 riders Flappy is adamant on haven't signed elsewhere either which is very telling. Imo frustrations are boiling over on this thread and the panic is setting in among some of the fan base due to a lack of news and it's totally understandable tbh considering every other teams is on the verge or has already names a full 1-7. We've just got to remain patient through this final stretch imo as I feel like some news is imminent going by the Speedway Star Quotes today and we might even here something at the Quiz Night on Friday.
  10. Exactly. For example I'd rather have a title challenging 1-7 with 5 unlikeable riders rather than a nice guy 1-7 who wouldn't put in a title challenge.
  11. Good value for money. I'll be signing up.
  12. The only logical reason I can think of as to why Andersen is probably in is due to no EU rider on a 6+ being available. No new Aussie or EU rider on a 5.00 would bring us close to the limit, No rider left on 2022 Premiership list would bring us close either as most of them are on 4 something's as well.
  13. Sheffield's to lose next season. Fantastic side.
  14. We’ll hear something on Friday at the quiz night imo
  15. Don't panic. Team building is mentioned in this press release on the club site. Peterborough Panthers Speedway Official Website: MPT HEADS TO STARS (peterborough-speedway.com)
  16. If Ben Cook was sacrificed (Won't be as I trust Flappy's info 100%) Then this team may have been possible depending on the availability of two 2022 Witches riders. 1. Niels-Kristian Iversen 7.59 2. Troy Batchelor 5.57 3. Benjamin Basso 6.81 4. Rohan Tungate 6.61 5. Chris Holder 7.16 6. Hans Andersen 4.93 7. Jordan Jenkins (RS) = 38.67
  17. It's the recent club press release that basically says Andersen is now a 100% lock for 2023. It mentioned every rider who hasn't retired from the Dad's Army side in the press release apart from Hans. If Hans wasn't in the side then the press release could've said something like 'Panthers management can also confirm that Hans Andersen doesn't feature in the clubs plans for 2023 and we wish him well for the future'
  18. The rumour about a former Aussie Pirate potentially returning could it be Grajczonek?
  19. Allen will get the boot for Mountain if he doesn't hit the ground running imo as it would be an easy team change to make if Mountain isn't in the Ipswich 1-7.
  20. Assuming the following moves happen. Batchelor & R. Worrall -> Ipswich (Personal opinion despite some Ipswich fans saying Batchelor is out) NKI, C. Holder, Basso, B. Cook & Jenkins -> Peterborough (Flappy ITK info) Ellis -> Sheffield (Obvious option for the No.3 berth) The updated list of Riders left from the 2022 season who are available to ride in the 2023 Premiership season would now be the following. Matej Zagar Rohan Tungate Craig Cook Hans Andersen Jye Etheridge Stefan Nielsen Connor Mountain Ben Barker Cameron Heeps Danyon Hume Paul Starke Does anyone think we'd build a team way under the points limit by going with Andersen & Tungate as the final two? From the list they're the only ones really jumping out imo considering Zagar is very expensive for what he offers away from the NSS, Personally I don't think we'd be interested in anyone else from the list of remaining riders.
  21. Is it time to admit that the RS scheme won't work already? Clubs are just going to dump them when they don't qualify for the RS scheme anymore (Brennan excluded) Too many tempting No.6's on low averages these days for the young Brits to get the nod over them imo.
