That's what I want to happen. I'd be happy with any combination of Holder, NKI & Nicki P though. Either way it's a very strong top two with race winners galore.
-
That's Jack though. Chris and Nicki have got a lot of history and I can't imagine either one of them approaching the other first to iron out the past tbh.
-
I'd rather have Nicki P than Chris Holder. Nicki P would win just as many if not more races than Chris Holder imo and he's also a panto villain who's antics will annoy the opposition most weeks. Got to love a panto villain in any sport.
-
If Nicki P is at Panthers then you've got Chris Holder imo. I just can't imagine them riding in the same team together, Both of them in the 1-7 wouldn't be bad for them team spirit as well.
-
Could Chris Holder be the one to make way with NKI staying? 8.00 or 8.04 left for the No.5 depending on Ben Cook's average so both NKI & Chris Holder fit. I can't imagine Chris Holder riding in the same team as Nicki P tbh.
-
Me neither tbh. Could be something in those Ipswich rumours if Pedersen is at Peterborough.
-
So it could be the following 1-7 now. 1. Nicki Pedersen 2. Hans Andersen 3. Benjamin Basso 4. Rohan Tungate 5. Chris Holder????? (Doubt he'd want to ride in the same team as Nicki P so maybe Chris to Ipswich after all) 6. Ben Cook 7. Jordan Jenkins (RS)
-
That makes sense tbh. Nicki P doesn't ride in Sweden and he's been keen on a return to British Speedway for a few years now. Nicki P is at the back end of his career to so he'd probably want to get every last pound out of the sport while he still can.
-
Good point tbh.
-
Not surprised considering how much engine room riders from abroad cost these days. Makes sense why us and Ipswich are fighting over Richie Worrall now.
-
Pretty sure NKI will be the captain. Experienced team man who's worked with Rob Lyon in the past for a few years, NKI also knows the club well and everything.
-
Batchelor, Andersen, Craig Cook etc.

I don't know where this Emil stuff keeps popping up from. Unless circumstances have changed the last I heard in November was that (Artem, Emil and a few others) are racing as Polish citizens on Polish licences and they're not allowed to compete outside of Poland. Granted my info might be old but I doubt it.
-
I agree.
-
Another night with no news. Though we would've heard something last night tbh.
-
Yes he's a perfect fit and he's also rumoured for Poole in other potential 1-7's
-
Poole really need a third heat leader to bolster the 1-5 and they can afford to go weaker at reserve now after their biggest rival in this league (Glasgow) signed Complin to go with Ace Pijper at reserve. 1. Steve Worrall 2. Zach Cook 3. Troy Batchelor 4. Ben Cook 5. Richard Lawson 6. 3.60 odd left 7. Nathan Ablitt (Lots of new inexperienced 2.00 pointers in the league next season so Nathan will have a years worth of Championship racing experience over them)

Not having a dig here but I think Ipswich are way more desperate than us to sign Richie Worrall to a point where Guy Nicholls would help fund a move if push comes to shove. With Ipswich if they lost out on Richie Worrall then they'll probably have to go with both Hans Andersen & Troy Batchelor and they really can't afford that to happen. Where's if Peterborough missed out we'd only end up with one of Hans Andersen or Troy Batchelor and personally I'd be happy with the latter option anyway. As I've mentioned on the Ipswich thread the best deal for everyone involved is R. Worrall & Andersen to Ipswich with Batchelor at Panthers. Why? Because Ipswich need a 3 & 4 pairing and Ipswich fans don't want Troy Batchelor and tbh the majority of Panthers fans don't want Hans Andersen and I say that with a heavy heart considering Hans is a club legend. Both clubs would be 1 something under the limit but their would be room to make an early team change if things turn sour in the Cup fixtures once some EU riders make themselves available.
-
Best deal for all parties would be this. R. Worrall to Ipswich and then a trade between the two clubs which sees Hans Andersen head to Ipswich in exchange for Troy Batchelor.
-
Hans Andersen? He rides Foxhall very well.
-
We'll hear some team news tonight imo. That's just me guessing though.
-
For what it's worth I think you'll end up getting Richie anyway tbh. But yeah I do agree with your reply on Zagar tbh. I don't think Emil is likely but PTA said a few of his sources think he's nailed on for Ipswich so I wouldn't rule Emil entirely out yet even though it's a massive long shot.
-
You'd be alright as long as Guy can help fund a big move (Zagar or Emil)

More in depth look at the possible 1-7. Personally I'd rank Peterborough just behind table toppers Sheffield on paper. NKI (Out and Out No.1 around Peterborough who'll get you a double figure return every week at Home, Still good for 8-9 points on the road per meeting) Worrall/Andersen (Worrall solid for 5+2 or 6+1 almost every week, Andersen a huge worry if it's him at No.2 though as I really think it's one season too many) Tungate (Out and Out No.1 around Peterborough and the figures back that up, Just have to expect a poor points return on technical tracks) Basso (Basically won almost every race he was in towards the back end of last season around Peterborough, Will only improve again) Chris Holder (Smashed up the Ekstraliga last year so he won't have any problem in scoring 10+ a meeting almost every week) Ben Cook (Rated by Poole and they know a good Aussie talent when they see one, Poole are a very well run club by the Ford family who've introduced so many Aussie's to British Speedway and they've hit a Home run with the majority of them, Ben is only going to improve just like Basso. Jenkins (Earned his chance to comeback and he's probably the second strongest RS going into the next season if you take a more in depth look at things like riders returning from big injuries who may take a while to get the confidence back, Mulford doesn't even have a full year of Championship experience under his belt and Dan Thompson doesn't have a team place in the Championship to start with next season apparently) I'd personally like to see the No.2 berth given to Troy Batchelor though as I think he'd put up some really good numbers next season riding in the easy No.2 race jacket rather than having to ride at No.5 against the oppositions 1 & 5 constantly.
-
Hopefully Ipswich do get Emil just so we can get Richie Worrall lol (Can't see it unfortunately as it makes no sense to throw Rew in the deep end by having him ride in the 1-5 with someone like Hume having to ride @ No.6) The Worrall Brothers are handy riders to have in any side imo. You can bank on them putting in a solid shift for your team almost every week without putting up spectacular numbers where's most other riders who ride at No.2 are very inconsistent where they would score 2 one week and then 7 the following week.
