  1. 1. Sheffield (Unbeatable at Home and should win the vast majority of away fixtures too imo) 2. Peterborough (Only if NKI, C. Holder & Tungate are in the 1-7, Nailed on for the wooden spoon if Andersen & Worrall are both in though, Not being biased but if the 1-5 contains Basso, Tungate, NKI & C. Holder then Peterborough will run riot at Home in 2023 much like Belle Vue did in 2022, Ben Cook is a very shrewd signing imo who will score very well on the big tracks imo) 3. Ipswich (This will raise a few eyebrows imo, If Doyle/Emil is the top two then that's great but the rest of the team will need to perform as well, Rew possibly in the 1-5 with no UK experience and coming off an injury, No power scoring reserve if Emil signs and King will have to recapture his old form by putting in solid shifts every week as the 3rd HL) 4. Belle Vue (I think they've made a mistake in letting Matej Zagar go tbh, Just my personal opinion I think they look a HL short next season compared to other teams) 5. Leicester (Surprising? I think the Lions team building has fallen off a cliff with the last couple of signings and I don't think they'll do much on the road next season unless Nick Morris drastically improves his away from, Dan Thompson failing to get a ride in the Championship isn't good for himself or Leicester imo, Justin Sedgmen isn't good enough to ride in the 1-5 and Jake Allen is a risky signing because he hasn't been good for the last couple of years in either league) 6. King's Lynn (Doesn't have the firepower to compete in the big Heats, KL is a team relying too heavily on the No.6 to clean up every week just to stay in meetings imo) 7. Wolverhampton (Risky side from top to bottom and they'll be found wanted next season imo, Masters may struggle at No.1 considering some of the Elite names being rumoured for British Speedway, How long will Rory take to settle in?, Can Douglas finally figure out Monmore?, Zach Cook has very limited experience on Premiership tracks so it's just one too many questions marks for me)
  2. Would be a cracking signing for them on a 4.93. Hans would only be useful to Ipswich & Wolves these days because modern day riders struggle to ride technical tracks. Hans enjoys those tracks and he still scores very well on them.
  3. The only role Andersen should be filling at Peterborough is becoming Rob Lyon's assistant and I mean this respectfully. Hans can walk up and down the pits helping the team out with set ups and giving out his years of advice to the younger riders in the side while learning managerial skills from Rob Lyon with a view to taking over the role from Rob Lyon permanently in the future after Rob steps away from the sport. Hans could also step in as Team Manager for the night if a situation arises where Rob Lyon can't make a certain fixture.
  4. Yep. Worrall good for 5/6 at a push, Andersen good for 4/5 top whack these days so 9-11 points from your second string riders combined is goodnight vienna almost every week because our HL's would have to outscore riders like Bewley, Doyle etc. to make up the lost points at second string. I don't believe that both of them are in our side, One of them certainly but not both, At worst Tomalin would've snapped up Batchelor if no rider was available from the EU market rather than going with Andersen & Worrall imo.
  5. If it's Andersen & Worrall then we finish stone last, The signings at No.2 & No.4 really are the make or break signing of our 1-7 imo. One of them at No.2 is fine (Prefer Worrall but Andersen wouldn't be the end of the world) but both of them as our second strings is asking for trouble.
  6. Panthers match Sheffield in every department if this is the team imo. NKI vs. J. Holder = DRAW (Both good for double figures on their home track, Both have a ceiling of 8/9 points on the road almost every week imo) R. Worrall vs. Howarth = DRAW (Identical riders imo who'll put in a solid shift but hardly ever spectacular) Basso vs. Ellis = ELLIS (Just giving the nod to Ellis purely because he's better on the road than Basso) Tungate vs. Bellego = DRAW (Identical in every way imo, Both will be brilliant around their home track but poor on most away tracks) C. Holder vs. Musielak = C. HOLDER (Chris won races for fun in the Ekstraliga against Elite pairings last season so he'll be a machine in this league) B. Cook vs. Kerr = KERR (Ben Cook is improving all the time and he'll only get better again next season but I'll give the nod to Kerr based on experience) Jenkins vs. Gilkes = JENKINS (Gilkes is returning from a massive injury so he could take a while to settle in and get his confidence back up again imo)
  7. Hopefully you can get the Emil deal done as it's good for the league. Bigger the names the better the product I say. Interest in the league will start to grow as a whole outside of Britain too which would be a good thing.
  8. Should be a no brainer to sign Starke, I didn't realise his average was so low until I was made aware of it on this thread. Even though he's declining, Starke offers the most stability imo.
  9. Yes. Showground will suit him down to the ground and Chris Holder will probably take him under his wing and mentor him throughout the season, Ben will do well and he'll score consistently well on big tracks imo but he might struggle around the technical places which is what you would expect from any newcomer to the league these days imo. For Poole last season he got better and better as the season went on.
  10. Told you Flappy's info is legit. Can pencil in Chris Holder for sure and at least one of Nicki P / NKI Carl Johnson commenting on 2023 signings on the press releases rather than Buster Chapman is very telling as well.
  11. That's what I've been saying all along on the Ipswich thread but some ITK's have sources who keep saying this deal is happening and the delay in team building speaks volumes imo. Ipswich would've wrapped up team building before Christmas if the Emil rumours were fake imo.
  12. Fingers crossed. Tungate is a must, Any title challenging team needs a strong 3&4 pairing that scores like a 1&5 pairing around their home track.
  13. Katy Lewis and Michael Tomalin have both said everything is worth waiting for and the latter has said first major signing when announcing Basso which suggests a very strong side containing 2/3 major signings. They wouldn't get everyone's hopes up for a team around 2.5 under the limit that contains both Hans Andersen & Richie Worrall.
  14. If Ipswich can afford both Doyle & Emil then Tomalin can afford Nicki Pedersen. Everything coming from Tomalin's social media accounts suggests title challenging team with major signings still to be revealed.
  15. Which team are you taking? 1. Nicki Pedersen 8.61 2. Krzysztof Buczkowski 6.02 3. Benjamin Basso 6.81 4. Richie Worrall 6.15 5. Chris Holder 7.16 6. Ben Cook 4.00 7. Jordan Jenkins (RS) = 38.75 or 1. Nicki Pedersen 8.61 2. 4.83 (Barker, Berge, Covatti, Szczpaniak, New 4.00 foreigner) 3. Chris Holder 7.16 4. Benjamin Basso 6.81 5. Niels-Kristian Iversen 7.59 6. Ben Cook 4.00 7. Jordan Jenkins (RS)
  16. We've got to go all out for the big three now that Tungate is out of the team. Then we'll just have to cross our fingers that someone like Barker can do a job at No.2 if we can't get Berge.
  17. Well I guess we couldn't find a mechanic for Tungate after all then. Nicki Pedersen rumours must be true then and I'll be buying a season ticket for sure if he's in the side, The guy is box office both on and off the track.
  18. I'd only have all three if the No.2 is Berge personally because I can't find anyone else on a similar average who'd do a good job, Barker would fit but he's got so many off track behaviour issues for me. If we can't get Berge then I'd sacrifice one of the three big hitters just to give us a bit more stability in the engine room.
  19. By far the best option out of the three imo. His scores around our place since the COVID cancelled season read. 2022 @ No.3 -> 3, 0, 1*, 2 @ No.5 -> 2, 3, 3, 0 @ No.3 -> 1*, 0, 2*, 1 2021 @ No.1 -> 0, 0, 3, 1 @ No.2 -> 2*, 2, 3, 0
  20. Since we returned to the top flight Richie's scores around the showground are. 2022 -> 9+1, 8+1 & 8+1 2021 -> 3 & 3 2019 -> 2 & 0 We should leave Worrall & Andersen out and go for Batchelor instead.
  21. 100% Emil rumours must be true because of that reason. Team would've been completed way before Christmas if the Emil rumours weren't true imo.
  22. Merry Christmas everyone. Have a good one.
