  1. All for Troy Batchelor as our No.2. He's got his average riding as a HL so I can easily see some value on his starting GSA. Troy can put a point on that imo. Rob Lyon also gets the best out of riders. Look at the 2021 and look at Harris this year for examples of that. I'd much rather have Hans Andersen at No.6 than Craig Cook though. I think Hans is better around Peterborough as well as the small tracks like Ipswich & Wolves and I think he'll score good points around Leicester too as a reserve.
  2. Problem you've got is Doyle's average. You'll need a team of riders around the 5.50 - 6.50 range to back him up and that's with Hume at No.7
  3. Batchelor would be a good signing for anyone on that average because he'll slot in at No.2 next season rather than riding as a No.5 which will lead to his race programme being much easier every night next season. Batchelor done a good job for Ipswich this season to only take 0.10 off his average considering he was riding at No.5 almost every week and having to face the oppositions No.1 three times a night due to King letting the side down most weeks. Riding in Heat 8's is a whole different ball game to riding in Heats 13 and 15 most weeks.
  4. Five 2022 team members should be a lock for 2023 Fill in the blanks. 1. Jason Doyle 2. Troy Batchelor 3. 4. Erik Riss 5. Danny King 6. 7. Danyon Hume
  5. Far too injury prone for my liking. I just build my teams on who I think could race in Britain where only certain clubs would be interested in signing the rider in question.
  6. Leicester will snap him up if he's not at Wolves for sure.
  7. Carl Johnson on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire between 7-10pm
  8. It's British Speedway (Nothing makes sense lol)
  9. Get rid of both reserves as they were the only mistakes imo. 1. Sam Masters 8.00 2. Steve Worrall 6.13 3. Nick Morris 6.48 4. Ryan Douglas 6.31 5. Luke Becker 7.11 6. Ben Cook 4.00 7. Jonas Knudsen 4.00
  10. That's what I thought but it shows 6.67 on GBSpeedway 2022 Averages page. Scroll to the bottom of the page Averages - gbspeedway.com
  11. 1. Dan Bewley 8.91 / Max Fricke 8.55 2. Jaimon Lidsey 5.16 3. Matej Zagar 7.20 4. Norick Blodorn 5.45 5. Brady Kurtz 8.24 6. Tom Brennan 4.28 7. Connor Bailey 2.50
  12. Any takers for this team? 1. Niels Kristian Iversen 7.59 2. Peter Kildemand 6.67 3. Michael Palm Toft 6.86 4. Benjamin Basso 6.81 5. Rory Schlein 6.96 6. Hans Andersen 4.93 or Craig Cook 4.92 7. Jordan Jenkins 2.50
  13. Where is Max Fricke going? Assuming BV are going with the following Bewley, Kurtz, Zagar, Wright, Lidsey, Blodorn & Brennan
  14. I have been questionable as to where we could get HL's from for a few weeks now tbh. I still don't think we'll get him, It just doesn't make sense to me how someone would move to the other side of the world and then backtrack with immediate effect. Moving from the UK to Aus had to be a fully committed decision and not a half hearted one that he wasn't really sold on from the get go. With Crump he was never committed from the start imo, He only signed for Ipswich to make a few quid when he was over here supporting Seth, I remember listening to a podcast where Jason said he lost the passionate for racing years ago.
  15. Sould do considering he's a former British Champ.
  16. Personally I respect Phil's opinion but I can't see Rory riding over here after a year out. To move his family to the other side of the world and call time on his career must have been a set in stone decision and not a half hearted one where he would backtrack after 12 Months. Rory would be throwing away lots of money in the process and he'd have to get his entire family settled back in the UK again, With our country on it's knees at the moment with the cost of living and stuff it would be a big risk for Rory to move back to the UK, If he got injured then he's basically screwed. I think he'll just do a few meetings in Aus just for old times sake. I wouldn't be against him signing though as I think he's a good rider, team man and he can get around all types of tracks so he wouldn't have any issue scoring points.
  17. 1. Martin Vaculik 8.00 / Kenneth Bjerre 7.75 / Anders Thomsen 8.00 2. Craig Cook 5.05 3. Michael Palm Toft 6.86 4. Benjamin Basso 6.81 5. Rory Schlein 7.14 6. Hans Andersen 4.93 7. 3.71 / 3.96 / 3.71
  18. I can believe that, All I've got pencilled in is this. Think our best shots at a big hitting No.1 are Vaculik (Bjarne connections), Kenneth Bjerre (Club legend) or Anders Thomsen (Former Panther who doesn't ride in Sweden) 1. 2. 3. Michael Palm Toft 4. Benjamin Basso 5. 6. Hans Andersen 7.
  19. Think you can pencil in the 2022 1-5 tbh. Then throw Ben Cook in for Drew Kemp.
  20. Can't be imo. He's only been back in Aus for a year.
