  1. Not the first time they've done that to a British club this year either. Spoiled Bewley's announcement too.
  2. If it was all down to age finally catching up with him then why is Hans Andersen's 2022 average around Plymouth so high compared to his away average in the Championship as well as both of his Premiership averages? You'd be poor around Plymouth too if everything was down to age finally catching up with him.
  3. Why do you think Hans was so bad in 2022 then? I stick by my post, Hans Andersen doesn't turn into a 3+1 rider or worse around the Showground just because he's in his 40's. Getting too comfortable riding the crappy little Plymouth circuit almost every week that barely has any straights is an easy trap to get suckered into to a point where it can have a negative impact rather than a positive one.
  4. He's declining for sure but he's certainly not as bad as some of his 2022 home performances suggest imo. At points last season he was only putting up 3+1 or less around the Showground.
  5. Michael Tomalin is delighted with the signing of Hans Andersen so it's safe to say that Hans has the support of everyone on the management. Time for us fans to get behind Hans too now, I do think he'll up his average by half a point. Riding the Plymouth circuit last year couldn't have helped and it must have contributed to his poor scoring around Peterborough imo.
  6. Interesting to note that Carl made no reference to Basso being in the middle order. But he did mention Worrall. Craig Cook for the last spot?
  7. Just about, I'll stop caring if the No.1 isn't announced tomorrow though. This shambolic winter has to end tomorrow morning imo because the club has got it from all angles as of late, Gone past the point where it's just fan frustration. We've now got riders calling the club out as well as Polish press calling us unprofessional.
  8. Yeah, When she's not running off crying to Oprah Winfrey.
  9. I agree. I'm still sticking with Nicki P as he's the only option that makes sense to me.
  10. No.1 is a massive hitter because we'd have 9.46 left to use after Hans, Only three riders get close to the 9.46. Freddie Lindgren 9.29 (Breathing issues due to long covid, Surely won't be able to fulfil all of the dates in a British season considering he couldn't even fulfil his Polish fixtures last season) Magic Janowski 8.97 (Very unlikely he'd be interested in a British return and we would've heard some whispers if he was in the frame imo) Nicki P 8.61 (Good to go for 3.5k a night and has been heavily rumoured but Mick Bratley is saying no and he would know for sure which has thrown a spanner in the works) Left field -> Artem Laguta????? Very unlikely but it's a rumour that's gathering a bit of pace.
  11. Think Klindt's point is that fans don't know what kind of team they're paying to see whether it's a strong team that can compete or a poor budget one that isn't competitive. Fans get a strong idea of what they're paying for at a Football club due to teams having a squad in place to begin with as well as a board who've got certain expectations for their club whether it's a title challenge, top 4 challenge or to fight for survival in a relegation battle. With Speedway every team builds a 1-7 from scratch every year due to the points limit, rider availability etc. so fans don't know who they're paying for (Essentially going in blind and hoping that the team is good enough to be in the mix) Obviously those who have bought a season ticket already are fans who'd go regardless like Crump99 said but there is a portion of the fan base who are still waiting to see what kind of team takes to the track first before handing over £.
  12. Hopefully this is the last day before the final two are revealed.
  13. Knowing how much of a mess it's been this winter, Wouldn't it be funny if Peterborough announced Holder as well as Tomalin takeover on Thursday
  14. I was sure it was Nicki P but Mick Bratley would 1 Million percent know for sure who the No.1 is so I'm not going to doubt him at all. Artem Laguta to Peterborough rumours are starting to gather some pace on a couple of Speedway related facebook pages over the last 24 hours. I must admit that it's a coincidence how Ipswich & Peterborough's team building has suffered delay after delay and now both clubs are on the verge of confirming a 1-7 in the same timeframe.
  15. Emil has to go through the same exam apparently. Żużel. PZM mógłby zrobić na złość Rosjanom i wykluczyć ich z przygotowań do sezonu - Sport WP SportoweFakty (sportowefakty-wp-pl.translate.goog)
