Defo a 40.00 limit because that's what the powerhouses will want. BV don't want Zischke at No.2, They'll need a 40 limit in order to get Tate at No.6 Ipswich can't sign Brennan unless it's a 40 limit because they'd have to get rid of two from the following 3 (King, Rew & Ellis) if it was to be a 39 limit. Sheffield won't want to release a power HL as the Holder Brothers will want to be at the same club so they'll need a 40 limit considering Woffinden has confirmed himself. Only need one of Leicester or Oxford to join the party and then a vote split is in favour of 40.

The fight's not over yet but we've got AEPG on the ropes now, More hope than ever before. Well done to all involved in the fight to save Peterborough Speedway, Their passion doesn't go unnoticed and everyone appreciates the effort they've all put in even if we don't say it enough.
-
On paper it's either boom or bust, Could be a case of High risk, High reward?
-
Problem is Picko's rolling average will shoot up after his late form this season so Sheffield won't have that amount of points to play with.
-
Different if it's riders with big averages as you'll have multiple options available like a good choice of guests to choose from or even a permanent signing if you can convince a big name to ride in the UK.
-
On my way, Hope it's a great turn out.
-
If that is the team then it's one big risk, Probably the riskiest line-up we've seen in UK Speedway for some time when it comes to the higher profile clubs in the league. If Rowe gets injured then it's curtains for Sheffield because you cant get any decent replacement in or any decent guests considering his average is only 3.91. Pressure is immense on Picko as well and he'll need to have the season of his life for this team to work.
-
I've almost got the same as you if it's a 40.00 limit, Justin Sedgmen for Lewi Kerr being the only change.
-
Personally I don't think they'd go down the route of the team that I've named above as it's too risky. I was only using it as an example to explain the Howarth rumour because Sheffield wouldn't swap him out for another 5.00 pointer imo considering they wouldn't be able to match Kyle's scoring power around Owlerton. Personally I've got Sheffield down for 1 Holder Brother, Tai, Picko, Bomber, Howarth, Rowe + Edwards or Gilkes (RS)
-
This would explain the Howarth rumours, What if it's a 40.00 limit and Rowe is at No.2? 1. J. Holder 8.85 2. Rowe 3.91 3. Woffinden 8.45 4. Pickering 6.74 5. C. Holder 8.79 6. Edwards 3.00 7. Gilkes (RS) = 39.74
-
I've got the same team down for KL as well, S. Worrall also fits at No.6 if it's a 40.00 limit.
-
Good team but if the rules stay the same then Wozniak would be reassessed to a 7.50 considering that's what Milik & Pawlicki were handed this year.
-
100% agree, Ipswich will need to push for a 40.00 limit at the AGM otherwise Brennan doesn't fit. Doyle, Emil, Rew, Ellis & D. Thompson = 32.72 Which would only leave 6.28 and Brennan is 6.52 after 2.5% Brit Reduction, Danny King would fit within a 39.00 limit though as he's 6.14 after 2.5% Brit Reduction.
-
39.00 Limit. 1. Jack Holder or Chris Holder 2. Erik Riss 3. Maciej Janowski 4. Charles Wright 5. Rohan Tungate 6. Ashton Boughen 7. Jordan Jenkins or Luke Killeen (RS) = 38.45 or 38.39 40.00 Limit The same 1-5 + a No.6 (4.55-4.61) with Ashton Boughen (RS)
-
Douglas can fill the void at KL.
-
I've almost got the same team down if it's a 40.00 limit, Just Ellis for Rew because Adam is stronger around Foxhall and Rew is wanted by BV. Brennan and Ellis are good mates aren't they? So they could be a strong 3 & 4 partnership with King being moved to No.2 to partner Doyle who'll take the pressure off Danny by winning almost every race he competes in.
-
Have to put together realistic teams, It's British Speedway after all where Belle Vue, Ipswich and Sheffield snap up the best riders.
-
Not the best looking team but it's what I think will happen, Rob Lyon has said it's strength in depth. 1. Douglas (Where else does he go if he leaves LEI?, BV/IPS/OX/SHE can't fit him in, Brum won't run) 2. Kvech (Rumours of a 2 year deal when he signed) 3. Iversen (Always rides for a Buster owned club) 4. Klindt (Was even turning up to support his team mates after injury, He seems happy at KL) 5. B. Cook (Same situation as Douggie, B. Cook happy to ride for Buster clubs) 6. 4.71 / 5.71 (S. Worrall or Z. Cook fits if it's a 40.00 limit) 7. (RS)
-
Bailey has put all of his equipment up for sale and it would be madness to put Zischke in the 1-5 with no top league experience and with him returning from a big injury. 40.00 limit and the team picks itself. Kurtz, Bewley, Lidsey, Blodorn, Zischke & Mulford (RS) + Z. Cook/Rew/Ellis at No.4 (Ipswich will keep King imo)
-
Fricke 9.14, Lawson 6.91, Becker 6.57 & Masters 7.32 leaves 9.06/10.06 for a No.2 & No.6 depending on a 39.00 or 40.00 limit. If it's a 39.00 limit then Zach Cook 5.57 & Leon Flint 3.00 but it would leave you weak at reserve and you'd think the Lions management wouldn't want to go down that route again after it backfired with Kemp. Two from the following pool if it's a 40.00 limit -> Wiktor Lampart 4.93, Justin Sedgmen 4.79, Lewis Kerr 4.77, Craig Cook 4.55 & Connor Mountain 4.38. I agree, Becker was awful for most of the season, Well in with the management though isn't he? So could be a case of playing favourites.
-
JCB back on board for 2025. Judging by the awards night and what Dickson has said already, It's likely Fricke, Masters, Lawson and Becker will be the backbone of the team.
-
The crowd funder is currently at £755 with a target of raising £10,000.
-
I've got Oxford down for picking the Released Sheffield Heat Leader up, They'll need a No.1 on a hefty average where's Leicester will already have one (Fricke) to a point where they'd have to make drastic changes to fit a Holder brother in. Some fans will want drastic changes but I don't think Dickson will as he'll look at the 2024 season as a success with progress being made from 2023 despite missing out to BV.
-
I agree but I don't see where any new Heat Leader is going to come from tbh hence why I've been building my Lions teams with the backbone of the 2024 team returning. I would've put Lindgren in the frame considering he's always rode for a club in the Midlands but he's signed for a Swedish club in 2025 and I can't see him doing 3 league when his main focus is the GP's.
-
I only put together realistic teams with riders who I think will be available to a particular club rather than building the strongest 1-7 as possible featurning riders who are either unrealistic or riders who'll be riding elsewhere. For example I wouldn't put a rider like Robert Lambert in a 1-7 because we all know he's only interested when Poland finishes lol. From riders who rode in the UK this season I see Leicester's pool of riders to choose from as follows (Fricke, Masters, Douglas, Lawson, Becker, Kerr, Sedgmen, C. Cook and the tail end of Birmingham's 2024 side)
