A lot to be considered this winter. Tigers team GSA looks to be over 46 so probably two changes needed just to meet a 42 limit....and there is talk of a lower limit. Hard to know if things need refreshed or whether its just the enforced gap in home meetings that has dragged things down. The big question is whether Tom and Ben would come back if we race in the Championship. Would we need to go top division to retain them? Whether Edinburgh manage to squeeze another year out of Armadale is another factor. Interesting times!

This sums up how a growing number of supporters are now feeling. Only the truly committed will accept these kind of delays. A lot took the offer of a refund at the Scunthorpe meeting and possibly didn't go along last night, perhaps explaining the low turn out. It will be interesting to see how many attend the restaging whenever It is and it is to be hoped we can find a dry night. Another repeat of last night would be disastrous.

There's the Jubilee Final so if the weather is threatening the Ben Fund collection should be held over until then. Thursday is a Premiership night and wouldn't be available. Tom and Benjamin are riding in the SGP2 next Friday and Tom has a U23 event next Sunday. I think we must press ahead with tonight but no messing about.

Edinburgh - new home required….

Seem to remember Berwick renting Glasgow (Blantyre 1) on Saturday nights about 40 years ago and Edinburgh protesting about it. Don't think its a goer Lucifer Sam. -
Curiously the Glasgow powers that be have still to acknowledge next weeks Plymouth v Glasgow fixture on any of their social media platforms.
-
Meteorology not my strong suit, just pointing out Plymouth have plenty time to avoid the possible fine that you seem so concerned about, but are you suggesting its going to rain constantly Noah?

Theres nine Tuesday nights between now and the end of October!
-
Plymouth have until the end of October to stage this meeting so there's plenty of time, though the teams may be a bit unusual by then, plenty of guests.

Aren't we already running RR for Ben Basso? -
Quite amusing in an Oliver Reed style but wouldn't want him too often

Leicester have the KO Cup quarter final second leg on Sept 2, defending a 58-32 lead so would fancy them to be in the semis the following Saturday, racing Poole. With the exception of Clegg their riders all ride in either the Prem or the NL so will still see some action, in contrast to Craig, Connor and Broc, so if we're second we're in a worse predicament, as we'll have nothing until to Play Off semis. Take it the Jubilee Triple isn't going to happen any time soon.

In August perhaps but not in October when it should have been held.

If Poole can do Sunday afternoons, then the CLRC should have been run on one rather than a Wednesday night. 6 men teams with a reserve getting two rides in separate reserve races which don't count to the meeting total. This was the format used circa 1990 in the National Series.

As Worrall was at number one for the Pirates on Wednesday, he surely is the Pirates highest in the current GSAs. -
The BSPL link to the Tigers website has the ".org" suffix and this is the root of the problem. You get through ok using ".co.uk". This has been pointed out to the promotion a few times.
-
While it has saved the BSPL from a big loss from a one off at a neutral venue, the three extra heats and travel costs for seven extra visitors, when compared with a standard league meeting, mean it's not going to be a pot of gold for the three teams staging a home round.

The next time this happens will be the first.

Ben Basso is currently number two in the Glasgow averages with Ulle Ostergaard just ahead of Tom Brennan in third place.
