Agree that fences will degrade over time but different locations and storage facilities surely mean at different rates. Some measure of plastic rigidity or similar reading can surely be used to determine when a fence needs replacing rather than a blanket ten years

Agree with the testing idea, like an MOT. The problem of replacing air fences purely on a time expired basis will hit all clubs in the next few years. Not sure all of them can afford the new air bags

So five man teams and each rider getting six rides for a 15 heat meeting? If your top rider is missing then his six rides are shared b between two other riders who will then have nine rides in a meeting! Don't think this is a goer, particularly if one of the two gets injured!

If you continue to do what you've always done you'll continue to get what you always got - nothing! We really need a different approach and stronger reserves for once. Particularly as Poole may be going down this route. They're widely expected to have Cairns, Rushen, Lightfoot and Harrison who come to around 22 points. Lawson for 8 takes them to 30 leaving them plenty of scope for the two reserves

Is there a bit of a chicken and egg situation? Which comes first the eight teams league or the TV deal? Both seem to rely on each other and is there a danger of being stuck in limbo?

Only affects riders racing in the top two Polish divisions with quite a few riding in tier three and not subject to the embargo. Without checking I think only D Thompson, Rowe and McDiarmid are likely to miss out on doubling up next year

Agree with you and that's why I said it's being suggested - by someone on FB that looked to be a pal of Loftus. They really won't have many options and RR can't be used as they are running that for Harrison

Hodders average is well over 3 even with the British reduction at 3.31

If RR for Harrison then Pickering can have six rides. It's being suggested that Loftus guests in place of Hook. Jenkins isn't available as he's on paternity leave

What points limit are you working to? The five you mentioned probably come to over 36. We really need a line up with two heat leaders and two strong reserves, rather than our obsession with top heavy teams

It's Mitchell Davey all over again. Each year there's a feeling, possibly a fear, that next year might be the year he really makes it stick. Same with Freddy, some improvement year on year, and the feeling we'd miss our by not re signing him. Possibly Oxford may be after him following his paid max down there in the summer
