  1. Is Buster doing the track this week at Northampton? If so doubt it’ll be as slick as last week meaning both teams on level playing field
  2. This one has the potential to go all the way to Heat 15. If Sheffield top 5 all don’t fire then can see another away win on the cards, as with his experience of Owlerton you’d expect Edwards to clean up at reserve with extra riding Klima doesn’t hit the ground running. Is this last chance saloon for Etheridge and Kileen? Etheridge harder to replace on such low average but likes of Mulford and Joe Thompson available as Rising Stars Kileen need to turn effort into points.
  3. Not sure if he’d fit numbers wise, but would miss a lot of meetings with Tourn riding Fridays with Ekstraliga on that night
  4. Based on Cammy’s comments about Simon Lambert when he’s guested for Glasgow I can see him coming in for Mario before the gets and official average, especially as Kyle and Leon have added a decent chunk to their rolling averages in 2026.
  5. This will happen if Godfrey can get the Kemp deal over the line, there’s still points to play with after the first announced change
  6. Can see Drew Kemp back at Scunny as one of the changes, had limited bike time for Daugavpils in Poland so far this season and would be an upgrade on what they have now.
  7. With Zagar damaging his ankle yesterday he’s going g to be out for quite a few weeks, so maybe we might see a new face (or old returning face) in the Foxes line up in the coming meetings as can’t continue with R/R (when NKI is back) as team not strong enough
  8. With Dan confirming he broke his collarbone last night, do we think Stewart will go down the R/R route rather than guests? Think latest averages (issue 5 26th Apr) would mean Nick Morris, Kyle Howarth and reserves cover the rides
  9. Awkward looking crash for Dan at Leicester tonight, left track holding right arm, hopefully nothing damaged
  10. Change will be something like Gilkes for Lambert, with Poole keeping Newman after his 28 day contract
  11. Godfrey too tight to get the problem fixed, had this tapes issue from start of 2025 season
  12. Wonder if the Foxes will get some track time in the afternoon ahead of meeting, bit like their P&P?
  13. Green light given, so first home meeting will be on Thursday. Hope it’s a massive success for all involved
  14. Think Gilkes may have burnt his bridges with Sheffield after last minute pay demands at start of 2025 season. Joe T has actually put in a couple of good performances around Owlerton in last 18 months (alongside the odd did too)
  15. Not a lot to work with 0.05 under the points limit, Etheridge is on a 3.00 so would have 3.05 Premiership average or converted 4.57 Championship average, can only see Mulford or Pijper as a replacement if they go down that path of an early replacement as sure they’ll give Luke Killeen more time before they look at the RS position
  16. Think we’ll see shortly that @PhilTheAce will be proved right on this one, no matter what’s been reported in the Speedway Star
  17. That’s defo the way to go, doesn’t give future opposition track time whilst giving some of the home riders more chance to get used to new circuit
  18. No Sheffield don’t provide a streaming service unfortunately
  19. Even with 3 former Sheffied Tigers in the Leicester Lions team I can’t see them troubling the home team. Expect big points from Pickering and the Holder brothers in a 52-38 home win
  20. Godfrey will behaving heart palpitations seeing that Ipswich news. Supporting their riders and giving fans a streaming service, doesn’t go with with his “take from the sport not give” mantra
  21. You’ve got to question what he improved for his £60k a year income from British speedway? The TV experience would have been managed by the TV company if he wasn’t about, only addition I can think of is the helmet colour rug 🙈
  22. Belle Vue built to win at home and hopefully nick an aggregate bonus point here and there. Struggled around Owlerton for a few seasons now
  23. Feeling this will be a close one, majority of the Belle Vue riders have had a good amount of sparring matches/ Individuals in Poland and the odd UK outing where as Sheffield have a couple without much true racing action which could give Belle Vue the upper hand. Hopefully there’s some good action between Bewley, Kurtz, Holder bros and Pickering and not too much follow the leader races. Just based on it being early doors and the odd rusty rider going for a home win for Belle Vue 47-43
