  1. Most of Mario’s problems this year haven’t been equipment related its the fact he can only ride the track when it’s slick (would have been ok at Scunthorpe last night as that was ridiculously slick). When he’s visiting every track for the first time he’s going to be always behind the 8 ball to start with. If he takes on advise from the experienced riders in Bomber, Kyle and Leon every meeting be that home or away he could start getting into the points on a regular basis at reserve. Was good to see Sam mixing it last night especially as used the inside to get past a few Scorpions rather than his customary outside line only approach. I can’t work out the rolling averages as never know the score that’s getting replaced by the current meeting but it must be getting very close for Bomber to lose his number 1 race position
  2. Lidsey has the ability he just need to dial in to his home track as well as he did at NSS if he continues like he did after his first one tonight he’ll be able to be a 1 or 5 after being a 3 for seasons at Belle Vue. As for Klindt well he just Klindt, first or last seems to be his mantra
  3. Then pull his start permission in UK and Denmark! 🙈
  4. Klindt might as well ride with brakes on! Every race so far he comes out of bend 2 looks inside, rolls off, foot down and other just scoot past with ease. He is a total enigma, but surely they must let him go after his 3 homes performances this season
  5. Lindsey’s home average is 4.44 (10 from 9 rides) and Klindt 2.28 (4 from 7 rides) which is where the problem is
  6. When is Kildemand due back after his collarbone, is it in time for Monday’s double header v Sheffield does anyone know or will they be running with guests for him and Bewley?
  7. Not his biggest fan but Batchelor is riding above his start of season average, it’s Lidsey and Klindt that have been major flops so far for the Foxes. If the track is slick like the Lions riders like it can see another away victory on the horizon
  8. Awful news for Dan Bewley as a person, for his pursuit of a GP crown and as a Belle Vue rider as nigh on impossible to replace in the team
  9. Mario would have been in for the shock of his life at Scunny especially with it forecast nice weather as Godfrey will flood the track as he always does in those conditions!! Thinking Jack Smith score more than 2 it’d be better than what Mario would have got even at reserve spot
  10. BSPL decided that this years picks were from the 2025 British Final positions and not in 2026 form or with any input form the Painter at Team GB. Personally think it should be based on a riders form from this year and not a meeting held a year ago as that British Final enabled the choice of the GB SGP wildcard .
  11. 100%! He’s not a rider I’ve ever taken too and from the off season shenanigans everyone’s heard he ‘allegedly’ partakes in he can’t bring that into an already dangerous sport
  12. Cook will end up there, one of if only to get the full house of Premiership clubs ridden for! If he does and rides to his ability he’s a good signing on circa 5.4 average, but there’s always the risk of his going missing for periods of the season as has been seen before.
  13. Ones changed track (Kileen at Sheffield instead of Oxford, Cairns been at BV with Colts for 2 seasons) and one in main body of Championship team the other not got out of reserve position yet so can’t really compare points scored as not 100% comparable
  14. Money talks, simple. Out of the initial 5 man GB squad William Cairns is the weakest with Cooper Rushen the form guy, so just shows that it’s a #ClosedShop #BoysClub. Know Prague will be slick as and not pay to Cooper Rushen’s style but he knows how to battle and his rider/bike weight must help him out similar to Killeen
  15. He’s back tomorrow for Northampton, can’t see him stopping a drubbing at Sheffield
  16. Iversen back for the Foxes with Sedgmen in for Zagar and Hagon for Harrison
  17. Foxes making their debut at Owlerton and with all 6 Premiership teams due to ride on Thursday night they will be left with riders without a current Premiership place to cover for Zagar and Iversen (or run R/R for one of them) and a replacement RS for Harrison. Lidsey, Klindt and Batchelor hit and miss at Sheffield, Thomson not ridden many laps around there but in good form so imagine he’ll use his full quota of rides at reserve Sheffield have announced that they are at full strength with Chris Holder and Jye Etheridge both fit to ride. Tigers will be wanting a similar track produced as yhe Ipswich fixture as seemed more comfortable on that than what was served up for the Leicester meeting. Can only see a dominating home win for this one with Tigers getting around the 60 point mark.
  18. Castagna might be OK at number 6 but elsewhere in the team he’s got to be carried unfortunately.
  19. Next full averages will be issued 28th May, Glasgow if making any changes need to do it before then as Flint and Howarth have added to their starting averages so eating into any surplus points once new team averages issued.
  20. On other note how long is PHB suspended for, is it the whole of May?
  21. Pretty sure as both Thursday night teams the only thing that could sway who gets the Monday was Leicester having the ‘holders card’ therefore getting first choice of race night. Can’t use the scores from the North/South tables as North section have stronger teams (in my opinion anyway).
