With Cook in UK you know what you’re getting 10 yards after the tapes have gone up. If it’s a flat slick surface he’s quick anything else bang average at best, thing is at King’s Lynn he’s seems to not be be big enough/strong enough to dominate the bike, whereas at likes of NSS he where it’s generally smooth and slick he’s fine. Can see him back there in 2027 on his lowered average instead of Blodorn to bulk up their Aussie connection

This is going to be a tough one for all the riders involved, will be in excess of 30° during the meeting, lord knows how much hotter in the pits and in their kevlars! Imagine Sheffield will go down the R/R route for Jack Holder as with only Northampton and King’s Lynn not riding only really Chris Harris as an option. You’d think Chris Holder, Pickering, Flint and Rowe could get maybe 7-10 from 4 rides not sure if Harris would get that from number 1. Did I hear right on BSN last night that Dan Thompson could miss this for Leicester of Lodz decide to use him for their Ekstraliga 2 meeting that clashes (practising today to decide squad)? If he ends up in Poland that would be a big loss for Leicester as looked on fire last night and had good meetings around Sheffield too, would they go guest or R/R? Can see Howarth again being a busy man down at number 6 maybe getting a ride or two extra from likes of Kemp, Morris or Joe Thompson Just due to Jack Holder being a consistent big scorer around Sheffield and R/R or guest not covering adequately I think Leicester will come away with the away win 41-49

Hearing that Jack Holder list of injuries bigger than told on Saturday by Polish press during the GP, I’ll let the official confirmation of these be released by Jack and his clubs, but these would be season ending for the lad, puts both Sheffield and Gorzow in a predicament, hopefully Jack back fully for for his Aussie season and then back in UK in 2027 with a GP wildcard as he was up there again pre these injuries

From a rider who has been speaking to him in the last week or so. Know his father passed recently (funeral was this week I believe) so will have been trying to deal with that ahead of any comeback to the sport also

Hearing Charles Wright is ready to make his comeback, can he jump straight back in for Klindt, not sure what rules are with these multi 28 day rules

Teams not officially announced for this meeting yet, however Ekstraliga 2 have announced teams for Rzeszow v Poznan for Thursday evening and it shows Pickering riding for Rzeszow. With 4 Premiership teams riding Thursday that means R/R or guest from either Leicester or Belle Vue. I’d say Sheffield will go down the R/R route as all riders available to cover. Can see a Foxes home win 49-41 with Sheffield’s lack of firepower in middle order and reserves coming to bite them again.

Think they need to look at the line up for this type of meeting going forward, you had too many young lads there who struggled to turn the bike in the dirt and control the bike to stay on for 4 laps, the gaps between 1st and 4th in some races was around half a lap which just isn’t competitive. Even it’s a case of dropping the u21 title and making it u24 where the more experienced u21 riders (those with Championship places maybe as a minimum) will mix it with those who recently moved on from that age group but are in a bit of no man’s land.
-
He’d need to bin off one of Sweden or Denmark first before he can race in UK. But if the money is right I’m sure he’d drop one, the Poles don’t call him ‘Dollar Doyle’ for nothing 💰

Imagine Masters was in ht15 with Douglas as Morris, Howarth and Kemp had already had a minimum Of 5 rides by then so spreading the load -

Did Klindt fall and get injured last night as he’s down as injured for Redcar tonight (King in as his replacement)? -
Looking at Sheffields results this week, do the promotion need to be starting to look out to see who is available for Rowe? 4 points from 8 rides in 2 away meetings and 5 from 4 at home v a weakened Belle Vue doesn’t really cut the mustard especially when the side is pretty weak at the reserve positions away from Owlerton. He’s been struggling recently as well for Oxford and know his Polish club have been using Francis Gusts in place of him as well. Is it a blip and he’ll ride into form, or do they change before his average goes south and not enough to play with to find a replacement?

Last thing I was told was that McDiarmid concentrating on Championship only in UK for 2026 and Poland Ekstraliga (Fri/Sun) and U24 (Tues). Suppose things (and money) can change things though

Pretty sure the Redcar change comes to effect Friday so Jenkins still has a team spot as of today -

Hopefully it’s not a slick dust fest gate and go meeting for fans attending and using BSN! Can see Leicester’s engine room and reserves comfortably outscoring Sheffield’s with heat leaders nullifying each other. Home win 50-40 -

Jeppesen and NKI both missing tonight with injuries sustained in Danish semi finals last night. Bomber in as a guest for NKI plus R/R for Jeppesen -
Poole to get low to mid 50’s tonight, Bomber off form in Championship, not a happy hunting ground for Howarth who is the in form rider for Glasgow, can’t see Flint getting much picking from the Poole heatleaders. I’d expect Lawson to go undefeated by a Glasgow rider, Poole reserves to have a field day against the Glasgow reserves and middle order, with Kerr and Cook to have a solid double digit night also
-
Laguta and Kubera injured in Sweden tonight, can imagine the Polish teams not giving riders any new start permissions other than what they signed at start of season which could put the kybosh on any new signings for Belle Vue especially if looking at any Ekstraliga riders.
-
I’m pretty sure that if Howarth hadn’t have fell in his first ride at Northampton last week and picked up a point then Morris would have been at reserve for June, Kemp, Howarth and Morris all very close on the rolling averages. Howarth on an 8.5 average so far this season (although only 2 league meetings that count towards and average) so Leicester have someone at number 6 that could be a match winner especially if anyone having an off night it’s an easy reserve replacement swap option for Dickson

No longer follow Sheffield to every home and away so by picking and choosing looks like this meeting was a good one to miss. Holder jnr goes missing again at NSS so good job Holder snr turned up or Sheffield could have been handed theirs on a plate by Belle Vue. -

Howarth already given Worky the thumbs up whereas Edinburgh assumed a conversation about possible situation was guaranteed rather than confirming it. Howarth will always give 100 no matter what race jacket he has on. If he misses the meeting tomorrow Belle Vue will be weaker on the evening meeting at Owlerton as most know NSS not Howarth’s favourite track for the 12pm meeting -

Hearing there a possible r/r that might be taking over one of the guests covering both meetings that will definitely weaken at in the away meeting
